How to install a SSL Certificate on MOZILLA FIREFOX web browser (Any

FIREFOX version)

STEPS TO INSTALL CERTIFICATE:


1) Open Firefox browser, make sure that 'MENU BAR' is enabled otherwise click on 'Alt key' then Click on
Tools bar. A menu list opens where user needs to click on “options” link.

2) A new window opens when clicked on “options” with window name as “Options” then click on
“Advanced” Icon
3) User needs to click on “Encryption” tab

4) User needs to click on “View Certificates” button


5) A new window opens with window name as “Certificate Manager”, and then user needs to click on
“your certificates” tab

6) To add a new SSL certificate user needs to click on “Import” button.


7) When clicked on “Import” button, a new window opens with the name as “Certificate file to import”,
browse the path where “ALLSITEcert” folder is saved and click on “open”

8) After clicking on open, a dialog box opens with label of the window as “Password Entry Dialog”
9) User needs to copy valid password where label will be as ALLSITEScert
10) User needs to paste the copied password in the Password Entry Dialog window and click on “ok”

11) System prompts a message “Successfully restored your security certificate and private key in the
window which is named as “Warning” then click on “ok”

12) SSL certificate can be viewed in the “Certificate manager” then click on “ok”
13) Close the Browser after successful installation.

13) When Altruista Application is opened, every time the system prompts to select SSL certificate user

needs to click on “ok”
