Custom CompEx or Hazardous Areas Training

Customized sessions on the CompEx or hazardous areas
training topic of your choice
Enhance your staff’s knowledge and competence regarding potentially explosive
environments through a custom session at your facility or location of your choice.
Whether a short overview of one of the CompEx courses listed above or a deep
dive into a specialized technical topic, custom sessions provide an introduction to
relevant topics, assess interest and competence for other CompEx course regis-
tration, make sense of complex rules and regulations, and increase understanding
of and technical tips for specific issues at hand.
Sample topics include: North American approvals, ATEX Directive, IECEx
Scheme, US Coast Guard Requirements, overview of the CompEx Scheme
and related courses, and more.

Only qualified applicants will be accepted for CompEx course modules

requiring technical competency such as Ex 01-04 and Ex 12. The
CompEx governing body requires participants to provide supporting
documents verifying their qualifications (e.g., electrical, installation, etc.) and
employment history relative to hazardous areas experience. Intertek can
help facilitate this application process.
