SCALE OF THE POST: Rs. 75,000/-1,00,000/-Pre-revised (IDA Pattern)) along with other
allowances/perks/privileges as applicable for the post as per
LMRC rules.
1. COMPANY PROFILE
Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation Limited (LMRC) is a joint venture of Government of India
and Government of Uttar Pradesh set up as a Special Purpose Vehicle for implementation and
operation of rail based Mass Rapid Transit System (Metro) in the capital city of Uttar Pradesh.
It was incorporated as a Government company on 25thNovember 2013. The first Phase of the
proposed Metro rail network consists of a North-South corridor from CCS Airport near Amausi
to Munshi Pulia via Charbagh Railway Station and Hazratganj (22.878 km.) at an estimated
completion cost of Rs. 6,880 Cr. Further phases of Lucknow Metro shall follow after obtaining
necessary approvals from the Government.
Company aims to set up highest standards in delivery of world class modern Metro System for
the city of Lucknow to the best of international practices in implementing such a mega
infrastructure project in a highly complex urban environment in strict time schedule and cost
effective manner.
Apart from implementing Metro project in Lucknow, the Company aims to develop expertise
in undertaking studies and providing consultancy service for planning and developing Mass
Rapid Transit Systems in the other major cities of Uttar Pradesh in due course.
For strengthening its financial resources, LMRC also has to develop 150 acres of land being
provided by Govt. of U.P. besides other properties as "Property Development" to generate non-
fare box revenues along with other measures for the same.
The Company invites applications from eligible candidates for appointment for the post of
Director (Works & Infrastructure), LMRC

of preliminary and final designs, tendering, track works, contract administration and
commissioning etc. for implementation of various Metro Rail projects of the Company.
He will also be responsible for project monitoring, interface management, quality assurance
and safety, cost control of works for the project, land acquisition, rehabilitation of project
affected persons / businesses, utility and traffic diversions etc. required for construction of
various Metro Projects of the Company. This will also include arranging necessary clearances
and statutory approvals for implementation of project during construction and commissioning.
He will also be responsible for planning future extensions of the project corridors as well as
identification of new corridors for subsequent phases of various Metro projects of the company.
3. ELIGIBILITY
Minimum - 45 years
Maximum - 57 years
ii) Applicants should have worked for at least 2 years in the pre-revised pay scale
of Rs. 51,300 — 73,000 (IDA) or in SA Grade (with grade pay of Rs. 10,000 in
Pay Band 4 of the pre-revised CDA pay band of Rs. 37400 — 67000) in
Government/ PSUs. An applicant currently not in Government or public sector,
but having earlier similar experience in Government or public sector, shall also
be eligible.
iv) An applicant should have a minimum of 5 (five) years’ experience out of above
mentioned experience at senior level in planning and construction of multi-
disciplinary Railway project/Metro including experience in land acquisition and
rehabilitation of project affected persons.
vi) The applicant should be well versed with Safety aspects relating to Railway
Construction and Operations.

Desirable:
i) An applicant from Government or public sector having a minimum of 20 years
of experience in executive grade.
ii) Experience in underground constructions including tunnels.
iii) Experience of all phases of project on internationally funded contracts i.e.
planning, tender document preparation, bidding, execution,
commissioning, post-commissioning etc.
4. DURATION OF APPOINTMENT
The appointment shall be for a period of 5 years or up to the age of superannuation, whichever
is earlier, on contractual or deputation basis, as the case may be. Further extension to tenure
shall be with the approval of the Board of Directors of the Company. General age for
superannuation will be 60 years unless extended otherwise by the competent authority.
5. SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS
(i) Prospective candidates should send their application in the format at Annexure-1
furnishing a comprehensive Bio-data including name, date of birth, address for
communication, details of qualifications and experience covering organisation, position
held, areas of responsibility and emoluments drawn etc. along with two copies of
passport size photographs.
(iv) Persons employed with Government/ Railways including Railway PSUs / Metro Rail
Corporations shall apply through proper channel and shall produce a 'No Objection
Certificate' from their employers at the time of interview. Other candidates can submit
their applications directly.

6. PAYMENT OF TA
All the candidates called for interview shall be paid to & fro Flight Charges (Economy Class for
domestic travel within India only) on production of requisition.
