CV People Africa, Talent Acquisition and Recruitment Specialists, was


established in 1992, and provides professional, value adding and innovative
recruitment services for East, Central and Southern Africa, its Diaspora and
beyond. With branches in Dar Es Salaam, Lusaka, Cape Town and Harare,
we source, identify, screen and select candidates to meet clients’ specific hu-
man capital requirements.

Our Clients represent the entire spectrum of commerce and industry, from
small businesses to large corporations, multinationals, non-profit organisa-
tions, and include quasi-government institutions.

Assignments may vary from single placements through to large-scale green


and brown-field recruitment projects, covering the full spectrum of technical,
administrative, junior, middle level, senior management and executive
positions. We also coordinate career path assessments, psychometric
profiling, competency testing, and medical screening as required.

Successful Placements, to date, have been recorded in a total of 19


countries: Angola, Botswana, United Arab Emirates, DRC, Saudi Arabia,
Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Uganda, Malawi,

Introduction

Zimbabwe All Industry Salary Survey

Remuneration Data has been gathered and analyzed from jobseekers


registering with CV People Africa between the months of August 2016 and
March 2017.

306 Positions were analyzed in this Salary Survey. Feedback and comments
are appreciated and will be taken into consideration in the production and
development of the next survey.

Customized Salary Surveys can be compiled for organizations upon request.

Methodology

Data Collection
Salary and benefits data gathered during jobseeker registration with CV
People Africa between August 2016 and March 2017 was extracted.

Data Cleaning
After grouping the data according to job title, and to similarity of functions
and hierarchy within the same job category, the data was cleaned to elimi-
nate outliers.

Data Analysis
Collation, analysis & presentation of salary and benefits data was carried out
for each position using MS Excel and MS PowerPoint packages.

Data Verification
Results of the Survey were verified by comparing actual remuneration data
gathered when CV People Africa places candidates.

Average Salary
Total of salaries under a particular job title divided by the number of individu-
als under that title

Mode
The most frequent salary for each position

Salary Range
For each job position, the minimum and maximum salaries were specified 

Percentiles
The 50th percentile of all salaries for a given job representing the mid-point of
the competitive market rate for that job was indicated. The inter-quartile
range (whose minimum is the 25th percentile and whose maximum is the
75th percentile) roughly equating to the typical market range for the respec-
tive job position was stated.
