SECTION – B: Match Column Type (One or More than one option Correct)

This section contains two questions, each having two matching Columns. Choices for the correct
combination of elements from Column-I and Column-II are given as option (A), (B), (C) and (D) out of which
one or more than one are correct.

1. Match the values of ‘a’ from Column  II.

Column  I Column  II
(A) 4(cos310° + sin320°) = a(cos10° + sin20°) (p) 2

(B) 1 1 (q) 1

1  cos 2  sin 2
(D) cot   1 1  sina (s) 3

cot   1 cos a

2. Match the column

Column  I Column  II
If a, b, c are in H.P., then the straight line
(A) x y 1
   0 always passes through a point
(p) (1, 1)
a b c
All chords of the curve 3x2  y2  2x + 4y = 0
(B)
which subtend a right angle at the origin pass (q) (1, 1)
through the point
The circumcentre of the triangle formed by the
(C) (r) (0, 0)
lines xy + 2x + 2y + 4 = 0 and x + y + 2 = 0 is
The circle passing through three distinct
(D) points (1, t) , (t, 1) and (t, t) passes through (s) (1, 2)
