Course Description:
This course enables students to extend their knowledge of functions. Students will investigate and apply properties of
polynomial, exponential, and trigonometric functions, continue to represent functions numerically, graphically, and
algebraically; develop facility in simplifying expressions and solving equations; and solve problems that address
applications of algebra, trigonometry, vectors, and geometry. Students will reason mathematically and communicate
their thinking as they solve multi-step problems. This course prepares students for a variety of college technology
programs.

application that stores student information. While your son/daughter is in my class I would like to use
mygradebook.com. This website is password protected but does store students’ first and last names, as well as their
ID number. In the past I have used this website to send out emails to parents and students about upcoming
assignments, school events, tests, and updated grade marks. If you would like me to use this website for the purpose of
storing your child’s grade, and to communicate with your child and yourself please sign below.
ASSESSMENT OF INSTRUCTIONAL STRATEGIES: Strategies for the assessment and evaluation of student
