    BricsCAD Academic License Agreement


    This Agreement dated as of 16 de octubre de 2018. (the "Effective Date"), is between
    Bricsys NV (“Bricsys”), with principle place of business at Bellevue 5/201, 9050 Gent, Belgium,
    and Universidad TÉCNICA del NORTE. (“Licensee”) with principle place of business at
    Ibarra, 100150 Ibarra, Ecuador.

    I. Scope

    a. Bricsys believes that students in engineering and related disciplines need to have access
    to professional software tools during their education. This will facilitate the learning
    process and will increase their career opportunities in a commercial, government or
    academic environment.
    b. In order to facilitate the deployment of professional engineering software, Bricsys will
    license and support BricsCAD Platinum, Sheet Metal for BricsCAD and BIM for BricsCAD,
    for free to academic institutions under this BricsCAD Academic License Agreement.
    c. The Licensee may install BricsCAD on all personal computers in all classrooms of the
    Licensee’s academic department.

    II. Software Licensing

    a. Licensee can download the Products and upgrades from the Bricsys website.
    b. Licensee will receive one volume license key. A volume license is one license key for
    multiple users, where Bricsys grants the Licensee the right to use the key on any
    personal computer owned by the Licensee. Under no circumstance, this license key can
    be used on personal computers of the students.
    c. All Products licensed to the Licensee under this Agreement are for educational,
    demonstration and academic research purposes only. Any other usage of Products
    provided under this Agreement without prior written consent from Bricsys is not
    permitted. The use of the Products for commercial production of drawings or designs
    and custom consulting work for a single client or for a company is specifically
    disallowed.
    d. The Licensee will ensure, to the best of his abilities, that BricsCAD products will not be
    copied, disassembled or reverse engineered by students or faculty members.
    e. In order to ensure that students have access to the latest Product releases, Bricsys will
    provide regular updates of its Products. The Licensee may download product
    enhancements via the Bricsys Web site.

    f. Licensee can assign one Technical Contact per classroom. The Technical Contact may
    contact the local reseller for technical support by electronic mail. The Technical Contact
    will provide technical support to students and educators.

    III. Term & Termination

    The Initial Term of this Agreement starts on the Effective Date and stands for one year. The
    term can be renewed for another year by contacting your Reseller or Bricsys directly.

    IV. Press Release

    This agreement enables Bricsys to send out a press release about the results of this
    agreement and authorizes Bricsys to use Licensee’s name as a reference in Bricsys’ marketing
    material.

    The undersigned affirm that they are authorized to sign this Agreement for their respective
    organizations.
