Financial Monitoring Unit (FMU), an autonomous body of the Federal Government, needs to fill up the following
posts through National Testing Services (NTS):
Further details with responsibility of each post can be seen at FMU’s website www.fmu.gov.pk and NTS
website www.nts.org.pk. Interested candidates meeting the criteria are requested to visit the NTS
Website and apply within 15 days from the date of publication of this advertisement. The candidates
qualifying NTS test will have to apply for respective positions at FMU.
The candidates currently working in Federal/Provincial/Semi Government/Autonomous bodies should
send their applications through proper channel.
Candidates will be given age relaxation as per GoP Policy.
No TA/DA shall be admissible.
Eligibility Criteria
Education: Masters or Bachelors Degree (16 years) in Computer Science / Computer
Engineering from HEC recognized institutions or from a reputable foreign university
preferably in software/development.
Experience:
o At least 3 years of experience in related field is mandatory.
o Candidate must have proven excellent knowledge and hands on experience in
administration and development of ORACLE & MS SQL Server based
Databases, XML schemas etc. Prior experience in database migration from
ORACLE to SQL would be an advantage.
Age: Maximum 35 years.
Salary Scale: Salary in the scale of Assistant Director-FMU
2. Network Engineer – 2 Positions
Job Descriptions:
Configure, manage, monitor, maintain and support network equipment such as Firewalls,
Routers, Switches (layer 2 and Core), Wireless Gateways/Access Points and Intrusion
Detection/Prevention Systems.
Configure, manage, monitor, maintain and support Corporate Wide Area Network and IP
based telecommunication devices such as IP Phones (VoIP) and Video Conference
(VC) etc.
Plan Network Bandwidth Capacity and Commission new communication links.
Perform network related configuration for the business related application as per
requirements, following international best practices.
Ensure network connectivity throughout institute’s LAN/WAN infrastructure.
Check, identify and Update the IOS of network hardware.
Take backup configurations of Network hardware.
Support internal and external users pertaining to networks through network management
and monitoring.
Correspond with local and international vendors for the timely replacement of faulty
network devices as per Service Level Agreement (SLA).
Monitor fire Suppression, temperature monitoring system and Biometric Access Control
System.
Make sure availability of UPS & Genset as backup to Data Centre equipment..
Shift work is mandatory; the position will require working in various shifts including
afternoon and night shifts.
Eligibility Criteria
Education: Masters or Bachelors Degree (16 years) in Computer Science / Computer
Engineering / Electronics or Telecommunication from HEC recognized institutions or
from a reputable foreign university.
Experience:
o At least 3 years of experience in related field is mandatory.
o Candidate must have proven excellent knowledge and hands on experience on
enterprise grade network equipment including but not limited to routers, switches
and firewalls and network technologies including network security etc.
Eligibility Criteria
Education: Masters or Bachelors Degree (16 years) in Computer Science / Computer
Systems / Computer Engineering / Electronics / Telecommunication / Management
Information System / Communication Technology from HEC recognized institutions or
from a reputable foreign university.
Experience:
o At least 3 years of experience in related field is mandatory.
o Candidate must have proven excellent knowledge and hands on experience of
management and administration of Microsoft Server & RHEL Server O/S
technologies etc.
Age: Maximum 35 years.
Salary Scale: Salary in the scale of Assistant Director-FMU

& organizing, leadership and ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment. The incumbents are
required to have highest level of professional integrity and ability to work under pressure.
Application Procedure
Written Test
The candidates meeting the above eligibility criteria are required to register themselves with National
Testing Service (NTS) for appearing in the written test.
Selection Procedure
The candidates who qualify the written test conducted by NTS shall be eligible to subsequently apply for
the respective post at FMU. The candidates short listed on the basis of merit of written test and available
number of vacancies will be invited for further evaluation including Interview before a Selection
Committee at FMU. Successful candidates will be selected in order of merit subject to the observance of
quota as prescribed by the Government of Pakistan.

After announcement of written test result by NTS, the eligible candidates who qualify NTS test
may apply for the respective position at FMU. The application form will be available at the FMU’s
website www.fmu.gov.pk or can be obtained from FMU’s offices. Duly filled in application form
along with result sheet issued by NTS, attested copies of all educational documents, experience
certificates, CNIC, domicile and 3 passport size photographs MUST reach the following address

Applicants must indicate in their CVs the place of Domicile and whether they have a criminal
record, were found guilty of misconduct or have pending criminal or misconduct charges. The
applicants may be subjected to security clearance.
