Bist = is for addressing one person that you know on an informal (familiar/friendly) basis
Seid =(ihr) is for addressing multiple people that you know on an informal (familiar/friendly)
basis
Sind = (Sie) is for addressing either one person or multiple people that you know a formal
(unfamiliar) basis

*So you would use the bist/seid for friends and family, and young children and the sind for
addressing anyone using 'you' formally, as well as they/we.

Der, ein = masculine
Die, eine= feminine
Das, ein = neutral
Die =plural
