NPT threads must be sealed using a high quality PTFE tape and/or paste product. Refer to thread sealant manufacturer’s instructions on how to apply thread
sealant. Sealing performance may vary based on many factors such as pressure, temperature, media, thread quality, thread material, proper thread engagement
and proper use of thread sealant. Customer should limit the number of times an NPT fitting is assembled and disassembled because thread deformation during
assembly will result in deteriorating seal quality over time. When using only PTFE tape, consider using thread lubrication to prevent galling of mating parts.

Application
Pascal Industries check valves have been specifically designed for use on instrumentation, process and control systems,
together with equipment employed in chemical, chromatography, petroleum, power generation and pulp & paper plants.

Materials
Pascal Industries check valves are available in Stainless Steel, Monel, Hastelloy C, Duplex, Super Duplex, Inconel (625, 718,
825 etc.). The raw materials used fully conform to the chemical requirements of one or more of the specifications listed.

Pressures to 10,000 psi (690 bar)
Using Pascal Industries’ medium and high pressure check valve designs, the
Pascal Industries 10,000 psi check valve offers reliable one way fluid flow
control. O-Ring type check valves are used where tight shut off for liquids and
gases are required. When the differential pressure drops below the cracking
pressure, the valve shuts off.

Features
■ 316 Stainless Steel construction

■ Standard O-Rings include Buna-N (NBR), Viton, Teflon and Kalrez

for a variety of applications. Other O-Ring materials are available
upon request.

■ Standard cracking pressure is 20 psi (1.38 bar) ± 20%. Other

cracking pressures are available upon request. Higher accuracy
springs are available upon request.

■ Standard operating temperature from 17°C, maximum working

temperature is dependent on O-Ring material. Low temperature
option (-252°C) is available.
