Plumbing General Notes and Specifications

This document provides general notes for thrust blocks and anchor blocks, including that areas are based on an assumed soil bearing pressure of 100kPa, dimensions should be reduced or increased based on field conditions approved by an engineer, concrete strength should be a minimum of 17MPa, upward anchor block dimensions are based on internal pressure of 1.03MPa and a safety factor of 1.5, thrust blocks should be poured against undisturbed soil, and rebar should be embedded 0.3m into concrete. Thrust block dimensions also consider internal pressure of 1.21MPa and a safety factor of 1.5.
