ACCOUNTING INTERNSHIPS
ATTENTION JUNIORS: CHANGE IN RECRUITING - Accounting firms are interviewing this
November for their Summer 2011 Internships. Make sure you have On-Campus Recruiting access in
order to apply as deadlines are fast approaching.

(STU B1) by 5:00 pm on December 10, 2010.

PAID INTERNSHIPS
Sony Pictures Entertainment – Finance Intern ($12/hr)
This would be a great opportunity in aspects of Financial Planning & Analysis including preparation
of budgets, forecasts, and multi-year plans. Assist with SOX compliance of TV Ultimates for month-
end close. Assist with monthly flash/close reporting and variance analysis. Responsibilities will
include updating monthly GP Rate schedule for reporting purposes. Gather and organize SOX
compliance data for audit support. Ultimate, P&L, and Cashflow control checks for audit purposes.
SAP ultimate data input. Summarize ultimates for management review. Maintain/update inter-
department P&L revenue and costs spreadsheets. Gather Summary Of Picture Costs data. Quarterly
forecast preparation of Ultimates, P&L, and Cashflow files. Ad Hoc projects. Intern must have
understanding of Accounting/Finance principles. Strong attention to detail and the ability to quickly
grasp new concepts. Coordinate and organize timely information from multiple sources. Ability to
complete projects timely and accurately. Self-starter, ability to work in fast-paced environment.
Intermediate computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Microsoft Outlook. Experience with SAP a
plus. Must be able to work minimum of 20 hours per week. Must be able to commit for 6 months to 1
year. Must be enrolled in a college or university, preferably working towards an accounting/finance

Focus Features – Spring 2011 Publicity Intern
Focus Features, part of NBC Universal, is a singular global company dedicated to producing,
acquiring, financing, selling, and distributing original and daring films from emerging and established
filmmakers – films that challenge mainstream moviegoers to embrace and enjoy voices and visions
from around the world. The company operates as Focus Features domestically, and as Focus Features

domestic publicity department with various duties including “breaking” daily press clippings,
monitoring Internet coverage, managing and organizing a periodicals library, pitching to promotional
partners, and overseeing research projects. Candidates should be detail-oriented, motivated, hard
working, and have a desire to learn. All interns must be able to obtain school credit and be at least of

FELLOWSHIPS
Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Program
The Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Program is now accepting applications for its 2011
graduate fellowships. The Rangel Program seeks applicants who are interested in promoting positive
change in the world as Foreign Service Officers for the U.S. Department of State. The fellowship is open
to undergraduate seniors and recent graduates who want to begin two-year master’s programs in the fall
of 2011. In March 2011, the program will select twenty Rangel Fellows who will receive up to $90,000
in benefits over two years to fund tuition, mandatory fees, and living expenses for completion of two-
year master’s degrees, as well as summer internships to promote professional development. Fellows may
use the fellowship to fund graduate studies of international affairs or a related subject such as public
administration, business administration or public policy at U.S. universities. Those who successfully
complete the program will receive appointments as Foreign Service Officers upon graduation, embarking
on one of the most exciting and rewarding careers.
Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship, plans to enter graduate school in fall 2011, and a
minimum 3.2 GPA. The program encourages the application of members of minority groups historically
underrepresented in the Foreign Service and those with financial need. The application deadline is
