The key account manager is responsible for handling the most important client accounts in a
company. These accounts make up the highest percentage of company income, and the key
account manager must build and maintain a strong relationship with the client. They will be
the lead point of contact for all key client matters, anticipate the client’s needs, work within
the company to ensure deadlines for client are met, and help the client succeed. The key
account manager will also bring in new business from existing clients or contacts, and will
develop new relationships with potential clients.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Developing a solid and trusting relationship between major key clients and company
Resolving key client issues and complaints
Developing a complete understanding of key account needs
Anticipating key account changes and improvements
Managing communications between key clients and internal teams
Managing account team assigned to each client
Strategic planning to improve client results
Negotiating contracts with client and establishing timeline of performance
Establishing and overseeing internal budgets with the company and external budgets
with the client
Working with design, sales team, creative, advertising, logistics, managers,
marketing, and team members from other departments dedicated to the same client
account to ensure the highest quality of materials are being produced and all client
needs met
Collaborating with sales team to maximize profit by up-selling or cross-selling
Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to
share with team members, stakeholders, and possible use in future case studies or
company training
Meeting all client needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines
Analyzing client data to provide customer relationship management
Expanding relationships and bringing in new clients

Connection with the agencies, guaranteeing execution of the most efficient plan,
performing analysis and evaluation of results.
Advice Marketing Teams: Digital marketing analysts keep marketing and sales teams
up-to-date on current campaigns, informing them on which aspects of campaigns are
the most effective and which are not, and advising them on how to tweak campaigns
to get maximum attention and create more revenue.
Write Marketing Reports: Digital marketing analysts create detailed reports showing
the amount of traffic online campaigns are creating, how much campaigns cost, and
outlining the timetables and schedules for online marketing campaigns.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
To be the point of contact between the regional digital team and the local marketing
teams of each country, to coordinate the planning, implementation and monitoring of
the results of the digital regional activities, controlling that the campaigns are aligned
with the local plans.
Work together with local marketing teams to identify opportunities to develop local
actions together with the local marketing team and local agencies.
Ensure that marketing guidelines and best practices are followed correspondingly
throughout the region.
Develop and keep updated the catalog of products for E commerce, making sure that
the photos and descriptions are correct, always complying with the established
guidelines.
Keep the Prodigi tool updated with all the E commerce content
Work together with the ecommerce leader to ensure that customer sites contain the
correct information about Colgate-Palmolive products.
Visiting clients together with the sales team to evaluate opportunities and points of
improvement in E commerce.
Interact with the regional E commerce team to analyze the best practices and review
new guidelines to follow.
Work with the regional E commerce team to develop content for the different sites.
Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing, etc.
1-3 years of experience in digital & marketing areas
English – Advanced
