Job Summary:
The Area Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the sales and marketing
strategy within a defined geographic area. This role will focus on driving revenue growth, managing key
accounts, and implementing marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness and market share. The ideal
candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team and build relationships
with clients and stakeholders.
Develop and implement the sales strategy for the assigned area, aligning with the company’s overall
business objectives and revenue goals.
Identify new business opportunities and market segments to expand the customer base.
Drive sales growth by maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers while acquiring
new clients.
Develop and execute local marketing campaigns to promote the company’s products and services within
the area.
Work with the central marketing team to ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and promotional
activities.
Coordinate events, trade shows, and product demonstrations to increase brand visibility and generate
leads.
Manage Sales Across Primary and Secondary Retail Channels:
Oversee both primary sales (direct to retailers) and secondary sales (through distribution channels) to
ensure product availability, merchandising, and sales targets are met across retail locations.
Work closely with retail partners to drive sales growth, optimize product placement, and enhance
customer experience.
Team Leadership and Development-
Lead, train, and support the local sales and marketing team to ensure they are equipped with the tools,
knowledge, and resources needed to succeed.
Set clear performance goals and regularly review individual and team performance against targets.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members.
Develop and manage the area’s sales and marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Monitor spending and ROI for sales and marketing initiatives to ensure cost-effectiveness and alignment
with overall business objectives.
Prepare and present regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management, analyzing trends and
adjusting strategies accordingly.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders in the region.
Understand customer needs and market trends to offer tailored solutions that enhance customer
satisfaction.
Provide excellent post-sales support to ensure customer loyalty and repeat business.
Track, analyze, and report on the performance of sales and marketing efforts, including lead generation,
conversions, and revenue growth.
Prepare regular performance reports, including sales data, customer insights, and marketing campaign
results.
Use analytics to refine sales tactics and marketing strategies, ensuring continuous improvement and
optimization.
Qualifications Required:
MBA in Marketing
Skills Required:
Knowledge of digital marketing channels, social media platforms, and analytics tools.
