- Developing the regional sales plans from the overall business strategy, targets and expenses budget
and thereafter monitoring and analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
- Suggesting product packing for better results, monitoring product performance and reviewing market
trends.
- Implementing trade promotions by planning various promotional activities, tracking and evaluating trade
spending
- Planning manpower (ASM/SO) required in the assigned territory and monitoring their performance and
impart trainings.
- Conducting monthly reviews, preparing required reports and taking corrective action.
- Preparing monthly sales plan along with sales schemes based on the annual plan(volume)
- Preparing sales forecast for the current month (Package and product mix).
- Planning and budgeting various trade promotional activities. (Distributor and retailer).
Key Responsibilities
- Implementation of Sales strategies to achieve revenue generation, increase of market share and overall
business growth PAN India.
- Responsible for Annual Brand wise and pack wise sales target achievement nationally. (Volume, value &
Bottom-line target).
- Special focus and effort to develop distribution network with renewed emphasis on distribution
expansion in the rural markets for company's products.
- To guide RSMs in respect of Appointment of Distributors, Super Stickiest to improve coverage in various
States.
- Giving strategic guidance to the RSMs/Dy.RSM/ASMs (in absence of RSM) to establish sales targets
brand wise, pack wise as per ABP and help them in breaking the same geographically, monthly, weekly &
daily targets.
- Monitor the sales trend, competitor activities and provide necessary support to the team for successful
achievement of the Business plan.
- Analyze and report competitors strategies upward on pricing, Placing, promos, schemes, Product
Features.
- Work closely with marketing team in respect of Packaging, promotions, pricing etc.
- Develop organisational capabilities to service the market. Mentoring and monitoring the performance of
the team.
- SALES TEAM MANAGEMENT-Manage the sales team by communicating clear job expectations,
monitoring and evaluating performance.

Excellent opportunity for you to work in an established company as an Area Sales Manager for (Hotel-
Restaurants- Cafe) HORECA Channel.
Salary between Rs 35,000 - 50,000/Month depending on experience and skill. Can increase for the right candidate.
Strong Food Service contacts of Chefs/Purchase Managers in Hotels, Restaurants & Cafe in NCR/Kolkata
Deal at all levels from Unit Head Chefs and Contract Catering Managers through to Buyer level
Deliver the sales objectives of volume, value, market share and in-store execution; and acquire new food service
accounts across the HORECA channel
Identifying market potential in order to establish new account, achieve food service sales volume, revenue and
profitability goals.
Maintain, monitor, and regularly evaluate pricing and contracts with customers so as to provide products and services
that meet standards of quality, timeliness and cost.
Define monthly and quarterly plans to drive volume, value, market share and activation in the region
Detailed data analysis of Internal Sales, Customer Offtake and activation to understand the gap and opportunities &
build plans basis that
Review and Reporting: Collate data and prepare reports to track various parameters e.g. Sales Efficiency, Sales

• We will be Carrying and Forwarding agent or Master Super Stockist for their
brands.
• We will appoint distributors under us across India to distribute the stock,
and our marketing team will visit their markets in order to place the products
in the retail outlets.

Presently we are handling one product and one state (Karnataka). The
product which we are handling is an Agmark product with special grade. We
have already appointed a couple of distributors in Karnataka (Bellary,
Mysore, etc.) and are planning to ramp up our operations before this financial
year end.
Objectives/Future
• Create the network (Marketing Team and Distributors) in the next 6
months.
• Add more FMCG products in our portfolio in the next 6 months, although
this will be an on-going process.
• Expand our business pan India in the next 12 months.
