POEM
Sister – companion
I am Brahman – my sister is Maayaa – the deluding power of Brahman)
Elephant is the huge perceived world around us looming up to the size of the
elephant
The whole world is nothing but the idea of mine connected to the limited ego -
My world, my country, my city, my house, my family, my house, my body, my
limbs, my mind,
my thoughts...
Remove all these mines like peeling the onion skin or a banana trunk; nothing
remains – no elephant of the world!
When the Self is realized, the whole world appears as nothing but Para
Brahman – the wall!
The recitation of the sacred Mantra and contemplation on the Self devours the
Maayaa – delusion; and Knowledge alone remains.)

(long pestle and a stone with a hole; a rotating stone on another circular stone
with a wooden handle as a stake and the old lady who wanted to munch the
ground grains – these three are mentioned here.
The bottom stone where the grains are to be grounded swallowed the pestle; the
rotating stone used for grinding the grains swallowed the stake; and the grains
to be munched swallowed the old lady.
Stone – the support – Para Brahman – swallowed the stake – that which makes
it rotate - bound to the results of actions
(Weaving machine – weaver – rods moving to and fro – rope – and the place
where the foot has to press
rod – to and fro movement - night and day appearing one after the other - time
Death or Kaala is sitting before the weaving machine of the world weaving the
world picture with his three ropes of Gunas – Sattva Rajas Tamas – and moves
the rods of night and day –
(the ego – the little I bound by space and time – was swallowed up by the grace
of my Guru Govindapaada
How?
There is the hill – a cave inside the hill – there is an ant inside the cave
Brahman swallows up this individual Self which was perceiving the world as
ego and remains as it is.
