Course Objectives:
 . To help develop familiarity with the concept of what constitutes to effective
communication
 To make them understand the importance of communication at very levels in generic and
in the law domain particularly.
 To help them co-relate the role of personality and attitude in overall development of
communication.
 To familiarize them with various kind of client counseling and client interviewing skills

Theory, Type Theory, Psycho Analytic Theory, Humanistic Theory and
Learning Theory.
Importance of appropriate dressing

Module III: Attitude 20%

Meaning and Definition, Types of Attitude, Formation of Attitude,


Negative Attitude and objective, Building
positive attitude, Situational analysis of Attitude, Perception.

Module IV: Motivation and Leadership 20%

Define Motivation. Theories of Motivation, Various motives: Biological and social


Motives, Motives to know
and Be effective, Frustration and conflict of motives. Definition Leadership, Theories of
Leadership,
Characteristics of leadership.

Module V: Client Interviewing & Legal Counseling 20%

Meaning and significance, Different Components: listening, types of questions asked,

Define Legal counseling and its differentiation from general counseling, Different types
of counseling.

Pedagogy for Course Delivery:


Communication skills along with the theoretical base would include a number of practical
activities such as role plays, presentations, mock social and formal meeting setups.
