Solar Lantern
Solar lantern using either LED or CFL is being used to
replace kerosene lamp especially in areas where
electricity is otherwise difficult to access. Solar lamps
are very useful and it will improve life in rural areas. It
consists solar module, SMF lead acid battery,
electronics and LED/CFL

Solar Refrigerator
This product is extremely useful in small clinics, health centers or
hospitals in remote areas where electricity is not available, for preserving
blood and medicines like polio vaccine, anti - venom injection and other
life saving drugs.

Solar Home Lighting System

The Solar Home Lighting System provides light in households, designed to

operate for a desirable duration of hours per day as per needs of the customer.
Less costly and best suited for areas where frequent power cuts are there/ the
rural house hold use. It consists of a photovoltaic module, a battery, a charge
controller, 2 LED luminaries and a DC portable fan is also available. .
Solar Street Lighting System

Nowadays the LED solar street lighting system is in use even in

cities and towns in place of sodium vapor lamp to reduce electricity
consumption. Life of lamp is more than 50 thousand hrs. Different
Panchayat, guest houses, tourist lounges apart from roads in rural
areas may use the above system. Depending on the light output

Micro Grid-SPV power supply and distribution system is

nobody can draw more than pre-determined units daily/monthly.
This system fulfills the bare minimum requirement of electricity
for lighting, charging mobiles and operating a radio or TV set in
such areas.

4. “Rabi Kuthi” may be use as a “Tathya Mitra
Kendra” which is sponsored by Govt.

Size of Rabi Kuthi may vary from 4KWP to 15/20

KWP depending on the size of the House.
Solar Pump

Solar pumps are very useful and cost effective, especially for
irrigation purposes. Taking electric line in the cultivation field
areas which generally are few km away from grid becomes very
costly. For this reason, govt. of India / state govt. are providing
financial incentives for implementing these pumps. Solar water
pumps nowadays are pumping water with more than 100m head.
Two types are available – submersible and surface mounted
type. Solar pump mainly consists of solar PV array, manual
tracking structure, solar pumps and electronic console. Around
25 million irrigation pump out of witch 90% are electric driven.
Frequent power outage is the major challenges faced by firmer
switching over to solar overcome the difficulties of power cuts
as well as helps the government to saves around $6 billion in a
year in power and diesel subsidy.
Not only that for drinking water purposes the solar submersible
pump may be put in the same bore hole where hand water pump
exists. In day time solar pump will operate and store the water in
a overhead tank. Where drinking water line will be taken inside
the village at different suitable place with tap-cock for collection
of drinking water. Hand pump will also be used when over
required
