Isolation and lockout procedures require each employee to have their own lock and key to isolate energy sources before working on equipment. No person may remove another's lock. Substance abuse can lead to addiction shown through signs like red eyes from marijuana or impaired vision from inhalants. Help is available through MCC's drug and alcohol policy. Small actions like switching off devices, unplugging when not in use, and using blankets instead of heating can help save energy and the planet.
