Abstract
Introduction
Motivation is very necessary element for all the organization either public or private,
organization cannot achieve goals without motivation so all organization focus on
motivation (Chintallo and Maladeo, 2013). According to Chaudhary and Sharma (2012)
motivation derived from word motive which is need want or desire of any person so we
can say employee motivation means the work on the want and need of employee in
organization.
In today’s business environment organization can easily change their goods, services
and material needs but it’s very difficult to change the human resources, so we can say
human resource is the most important factor of production of any organization. It is
almost unchangeable to make or increase the commitment level of employees.
Motivated employees work hard and help the organization to achieve their goals. It’s a
common saying that out of many tools motivation is considered as best to force the
employees to perform their duties or responsibilities (Azard and shafighi, 2013). High
level of salaries increase the motivation that ultimately increase the performance
(Mougbo, 2013). Employee ability when come with motivation it ultimately increase the
performance (Isabaltal, 2012). Motivated employees perform difficult task with
dedication that leads to high performance. Researchers focused on to increase the
productivity with any workability of employees. It is defined by previous research that
motivation is most important to increase the output of organization. It is also increase
the coordination between employee and organization and employees perform duties
properly. In the same point it helps employees to work friendly with subordinates and
monitor their work as well and it guide them to assign duties according to the capacity of
employees to get maximum (Ali, Abrar and Hider, 2012)
It is documented that employees play an important role to gain the customer satisfaction
because they have direct interaction with customers but companies ignore the role of
employees in this sense. Large companies invest too much amount to get customer
satisfaction but employee factor is neglected. Customer get information from employees
to make image about company’s products and services, so companies should focus on
this. Motivated employees build good picture of company in the eye of customers. To
identify this point we are going to tackle it in this way impact of employee’s motivation
on performance. We find that motivation has significant effect on performance of
employees of beverages industry in Pakistan.

According to Herzberg people have two type of basic needs out of them first one is
linked with Maslow first three needs that is to grow physiological and safety need of
people. Second one is thinking of person about the job that leads to satisfaction and
dissatisfaction of employees. Extrinsic factor include company salary policy and working
condition that mainly cause of dissatisfaction, elimination of these factors will increase
the motivation level. ERG theory of Elderfer also help researchers to high light the basic

McClelland basic three need of humans are comes under the umbrella of need of
attainment power and affiliation by looking at these theories to find that employees’
salaries bonuses different allowances job security and motivation are the main element
of motivation (Agwu, 2012). Anyim (2012) and Chintallo and Mahadeo (2013) also used
these theories to check the employees motivation impact on performance.
