Me and Mr Gavan Wisley Bowers Australian Citizen made an verbal Agreement of setting up a
Mushroom Farm for cultivating fresh Mushrooms in Capas Tarlac summery of agreement as bellow.
I get to know Mr Bowers true some Filipino friends 2015 he was married a Filipino by then. In year
2016 I was doing some research and experiment to grow some oyster mushrooms as a hobby I did
spend more or less 90 to 100 K P for my research from 2016 to 2018 then I decided to set up a
Mushroom farm Me and Mr Bowers start talking about it mid 2017 we talk that it would be better if we
do it together as a partner cause I didn’t have enough capital to start up the business and set up the
Mushroom farm then june or july 2017 cant recall Mr Bowers ask me to start first then he will be
coming to Phillipines March 2018 so that we can we finalize the project.
I had a Small Resort called Didem Garden Resort along the Mc Arthur Highway Barangay Doleres
Capas Tarlac so I close down my resort and start the project using my land for a start which supposed
to go big like 2 hectare as he promisses he start investing money on my land setting up some
mushroom growing house early march 2018 but it didn’t go as I was expecting. There were workers on
and off and growing house was not completed and by end of July there were no more worker I end up
struggling working alone to make it success but I couldn’t make it.I did all I can. I have live witnesses
that I work almost everyday from morning till late nights. When Mr Bowers see that there is no result
he start acting like my boss and start questioning me why there is no progress. I try to explain to him
but he didn’t understand.
He did promise me many things in the beginning such as setting up a corporation proper laboratory for
spawn production, proper incubation rooms for fruiting bags, proper sterilization chamber for sub stray
proper fruiting rooms Shredder for straw to be choped and at least 1 worker to help me to do the
process but unfortunately nothing happens and he is blaming me for all his lost which I do not agree.
I do have a PSB Bank Account personal use then we did open up another saving PSB Bank Account
just to use for this Mushroom Farm Project March 2018 Mr Bowers start transferring Money to My
Bank Account True Western Union he was here by then during March 2018. All the money transacted
true my Account not being used for Mushroom business More or less around 250K P I did use for
wages of the workers electric bill and buying some materials rest of the Money was redraw and given
back to him as cash reason why cause he always check the Australian Dollar at money changers and
check it online and online transfers were higher then money changers and he used my Name and
account to transact the money so he could get more because of the higher rate true western union to
Bank Transfer.
I am writing this letter to clear myself. I closed My Resort which was making 150K P yearly income
for me I lost that in year 2018 and 2019 so much damage to my property estimated 250 K P and from
March 2018 till now feb 28 I have been working everyday put me and my wife labor salary as 25K P
per moth which I never get I mean to say if I did work for some Mushroom farm with my knowledge
and experience I could have earn much more then 25 K P a month.
Now I want to end this partnership and stay as a friends if we can. he have invested on my land more or
less 350K to 400K P He will be coming down this Feb 2019 to settle this matter in a good manner with
minimum lost of both parties.
this is basically my story about setting up a mushroom farm but it ended up in a mess.I m very
disappointed and upset. He was here November 2018 for 3 weeks told me that he will not financially
support this business anymore and want to see progress when he is back in feb 2019 at least 1000
fruiting bags now I have to pay electricity bill every month 5 to 7000 P, bought a chiller from BHF
instalment for 12 months for Mushroom spawns to be store nov till March 2019 I will have to pay
2355 P per month which is not fare my electricity bill was max 3000 p a month since march 2018 till
now cheapest that I paid was 4900 plus. Why should I ???
Hope to solve this problem in a good manner if its possible

Mr Bowers message me on Viber saying that want to remove all items and stracture that he spend
money to build on my land also other items that he bought for the Mushroom production wants to sell
them of and get back some of his money. He also insist that me and my wife transfer the right of the lot
which bought togetherfor 400,000 aug 2017 anlong the Mc Arthur Highway more or less 180 sqm and
have 2 apartment on it he message and say that if we do not sign he will start a civil case againts us I
do not agree with all this I already lost too much by trusting and angaging with him as a partner who is
going to pay back all my lost and all the damage caused ? Pluss why should we transfer the rights of
the lot that we bought together for an investment. He supposed to invest and build a mushroom selling
and marketing point at said lot and he never done it he did demoleshed the property on the said lot
without my concern.
