2. Introduction
Human resource management is the strategic approach to the effective management of people
in an organization to that they help the business to gain a competitive advantage. It is
designed to maximize employee performance in service of an employer’s strategic, as job
satisfaction is one the objective of the Human resource management.
Job satisfaction is one of the important factors which have drawn attention in the
organization, as employee spend a major portion of their life at their work place. Moreover,
job satisfaction has its impact on the general life employees. A highly satisfied employee has
better physical and mental well-being.
Job satisfaction, thus, is the result of various attitudes possessed by an employee. In a narrow
sense, these attitudes are related to the job under condition with such specific factors such as
wages. Supervisors of employment, conditions of work, social relation on the job, prompt
settlement of grievances and fair treatment by employer etc., contribute ultimately to job
satisfaction.
It is said that satisfied employee is a productive employee, any kind of grievance relating to
organizational or personal to a greater extent influence on the job. So every organization is
giving higher priority to keep their employees with satisfaction by providing several facilities
which improves satisfaction and which reduces dissatisfaction.
Job Satisfaction is considered as a key issue by the entrepreneur where efforts are taken, if an
employee is not satisfied with the job there are chances for low turnover, committing of
mistakes, diverting minds of employee from creating conflicts etc., keeping this thing in view
all organization are trying to identify the areas where satisfaction to be improved to get out of
the above conflicts. This survey was conducted on behalf of KMF to identify the level of
satisfaction on various job related factors.
4. Objectives of the study
The proposed study, is intended on employees’ job satisfaction with reference to KMF and
the objectives in this respect coined as follows:
To study about the awareness of the job satisfaction among employees’ in select
sample organization.
To measure the level of employees’ job satisfaction in KMF.
To identify the perception of employees towards job satisfaction.
To give suggestions for the growth and perspective of the company.
5. Scope of the study
This study is confined to study the level of employees’ job satisfaction in the KMF – Kolar.
6. Research Methodology
The study would consist of analyze the data both, primary and secondary, for the purpose of
comparison. The primary data would be collected through sampling technique.

The primary data would be collected through structured questionnaire and also through
interactions, discussions and observations wherever necessary.
Secondary Sources
The secondary sources include the published records of the select companies, books,
articles, journals, brochures, magazines, news clips, CDs, ICTs, web resources and the
like.
7. Plan of Analysis
The data mustered would be classified, summarized and presented in the tabular form. The
statistical tools proposed to be used for analyzing the data are, Graphs and charts would be
used wherever essential.
