2014 – Jayson Werth hit a game-tying homer in the seventh inning and Ian Desmond laced a tie-breaking,
bases-loaded single in the ninth as the Nationals topped Arizona, 5-1 at Chase Field. With the game tied at
1-1 in the ninth inning, Denard Span walked, Anthony Rendon doubled and Jayson Werth was intentionally
walked before Desmond plated Span and Rendon to give Washington the lead. Tyler Moore later singled,
scoring Werth and Desmond to cap the rally.
