TERMINAL REPORT

IV.RATIONALE
The Cateel Vocational High School has always been a better place where junior and senior
students can spread theirs wings and reach for the sky. It is where all students are given an
opportunity to develop and enhance thier skills and talents in technical-vocational and livelihood
education for them to become responsible and effective citizens in the near future. COMPUTER
SYSTEMS SERVICING NC II is one of the specializations offered by the school both in junior and
senior high school.
One of the goals of the K to 12 Basic Education Program is to develop in learners the
competencies, work ethic, and values relevant to pursuing further education and/or joining the
world of work. To achieve congruence between basic education and the nation’s development
targets, Work Immersion, a required subject, has been incorporated into the curriculum.
To adhere to this policy, the Cateel Vocational High School sent Six (6) students for work
immersion at ANTICO DIGITAL EXPRESS, Cateel Davao Oriental owned and manage by Mr. and
Mrs. Clovit C. Pastor last February 11, 2019 namely:

February 14, 2019, me as the trainer, our immersion supervisor, and the six (6)
immersion students scheduled a talk to the partner immersion institution. The orientation
of the partner institution’s rules and regulation toward the whole duration of the trainees
in their establishment to us and the immersion students immediately fallowed. Such
orientation had guide the trainee in applying their capabilities and maximizing their
resources in deciding for their career and also to be responsible for whatever it takes
inside the establishment.
On the job training help trainees to develop their skills and talent that they
acquired in school. Trainees also improve competencies during their Work Immersion
such as good communication skills, resourcefulness/creativity/innovation, strong work
ethic, acting as a team player , positive attitude, time management abilities, ability to
accept and learn from criticism, self-confidence, flexibility/adaptability and working well
under pressure. The said activity helps senior high school students for the preparation for
a career they would want to pursue after senior high.
After a 14 days immersion at the said partner institution, the immersion students
(and the four junior high school NC II aspirants) faced their scheduled CSS NC II
Assessment at Lupon School of Fisheries, Lupon, Davao Oriental. They all passed the
ASSESSMENT (including the four Junior High Schoo NC II aspirants) breaking a record
now of 100% passing rate in Computer Assessment of our school ever.
After their assessment, they immediately continue their immersion at the said
partner institution in a whole day bases as scheduled. Then finally, they finished it on time
as expected also.
The on the job training done at ANTICO DIGITAL EXPRESS was a big success
after the whole duration of 23 days.
