22
Monthly Billing Production
Billing production was $381.3M ($15.2M below target). The CMS delay in publishing our annual
Diagnostic Relation Group (DRG) updates and subsequent increase in our coding backlogs was the
primary cause. This should be remediated in early November.
23
Monthly Cash Performance
Cash receipts totaled $64.3M (target of $63M). We have performed better than target for the past six
months and had strong deposits from United Healthcare, Kaiser, Santa Clara Family Health Plan, and
MediCal Managed Care FQHC. Also, retail pharmacy receipts were very high for the month. For FY 2018 we
are $15.2M ahead of target.
24
Accounts Receivable (AR) Performance
Total Gross AR Days increased to 58.5 but remained better than our target of 59. The rise was
primarily in the more current facility billing aging categories as we continue to improve on older
aged receivable balances.
