Following IS Codes/ IRC Publications have been followed for conducting the suitable tests on
materials and trials on design mix.
(E ) Material: Received:-
1) Coarse Aggregate : 4 bags (KANKANI)
2) Sand : 2 bags (ROHAT)
3) Cement : 1 bag (ULTRATECH 43 OPC)
4) PLASICIZER : 1 BOTTLE (FOSROC AURAMIX 200)
5) ACCELERATOR : 1 BAG (FOSROC SPRAYSET HBP)
(F) TARGET MEAN STRENGTH.
There can be a reduction of about 20 % due to above factors thus increasing target mean
strength.
Thus the target strength is considered to be:

Note; 1- The Trails For Optimizing the Accelerator Content With Dry mix Approximately Tried In
Lab And Fond 5 Percent Suitable With The Mix. Though It Is Recommended That Trials With 4 And
4.5 At Site Should Also Be Performed And Rebound Should Be Noted. Any Appearance Change If
Derived Can Be Brought Into The Notice Of Lab.

Note: The above results are not as per the Indian standards, as the height to dia ratio is not 2 or more.
The sample also have been extracted from a shallow pan and that to near to edge. In our opinion the
do not represent the grade or insitu strength of the shotcrete.
