    COMPOSITION OF THE BARANGAY COUNCIL FOR THE PROTECTION


    OF CHILDREN (BCPC)/ AND INCORPORATING THEREAT THE
    BARANGAY EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND DEVELOPMENT
    COORDINATING COMMITTEES (BECCDCC) IN BARANGAY BIASONG,
    DIPOLOG CITY.

    WHEREAS, all LGUs to organize Barangay Councils for the Protection of Children
    (BCPCs) and shall take the lead in the implementation of all children’s programs in their
    respective localities. The councils shall be fully harnessed for the efficient and effective
    implementation of all major areas of concern for children;

    WHEREAS, since the BCPC has the same objectives, shall function as one to avoid
    confusion and duplication of similar council/committees in the LGUs. The BCPC shall be the
    umbrella organization for all programs on children and ECCD Coordinating Committee shall be
    one of the committee under it;

    NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Florenda R. Agustin and duly seconded by Hon.
    Milcah G. Briones, be it; composition of the Barangay Council for the Protection of Children
    (BCPC) and incorporating thereat the Early Childhood Care and Development Coordinating
    Committees (ECCDCC) in Barangay Biasong, Dipolog City.
    COMPOSITION
