During my engineering studies I learned a lot about green process engineering among
heavy chemical industry. In 2012 my story with multicultural meetings was started by
BIOCEN 2012, what was performed in Tampere, Finland, where I used to be a leader of
one multicultural team, performing assessment about alternative energy resources from
cellulose. We achieve second place in competition. Turning back to Poland I decided to
perform my Master thesis in mathematical modeling of reactors, so I started to learn
programming in freeware software (SciLAB). Finally in 2013 I ended all courses with GPA
4.84/5 and final grade 5 with honors.
Going to more designing subject, espcially connected with nautre, as 3 studies I was
selected for Environmental engineering, with specialization of Sanitary Engineering. I
decided to go for that studies, because of strong cooperation with civil and sanitary
engineers, that I need to understand for proper design. As a process engineer, I need to
take other point of view, and understand that not only chemistry is among as. Living
creatures are extremely helpful for sewage water treatment for instance. That faculty
gives me better understanding of biological processes in chemistry world.
Fortunately during my chemical engineering studies I have met professor XXX , with
whom I cooperating till present day. We started with publications of his and mine work
about reverse flow reactors, especially focusing on the theoretical mechanism within,
and trying to describe that in mathematical way. I am learning a lot of mathematical
modeling as well as numerical method that helps in solving of sets of differential
equations. During meetings and work I sharpened my critical thinking and programming
activities.
In next year I changed work to workshop design, to get knowledge about design and
technological design of chemical, diary and pharma industry apparatus. I used to be
responsible for all process, starting from the design, under proper conditions (given by
customer) , through welding and manufacturing technology, till the notified body
certification and customer audit. Together with other engineers, we develop API
(Advanced Production Integration) and Lean development for improve of the
production activities and time management, starting from design apparatus
automations. During that extensive year I understood that designing is that what I
would like to do. That experience gives me a lot of knowledge about chemical process
industry and apparatus production, pathway of certifications, finally imagination and
understanding form idea to start-up of process.
I have carefully assessed my options about the future too. The advancements within
chemical industry made in the fields of designing and process development in particular
attracted my attention, making me curious about the new avenues opening up in
chemical industry. Nowadays people need a solutions for day to day problems, which
were solved by scientist with cooperation with engineers that are turn science from
religion to facts. Most countries and large companies around the globe have already
started doing massive investments in dedicated research and I am positive this will
boost the labour market, soon there will be a need for new, young engineers to lead us
into this new era of chemistry and product development. When this happens, I want to
be a part of this industrial revolution.
In 10-15 years from now, I imagine myself working at the project as manager and also,
conducting technical supervision on the advanced manufacturing processes with other
people with the same passion of mine.
Your faithfully

Dear Sir/Madam
During my engineering studies, I learned a lot about green process engineering in the
heavy chemicals industry. In 2012, I attended BIOCEN in Tampere, Finland, where I was a
leader of one multicultural team, performing assessments of alternative-energy sources
from cellulose. We achieved second place in the competition.
In 2014, I was a student also at Economy University, where I was selected as an Erasmus
exchange student at the University of Applied sciences in Vienna, in quantitative asset
and risk management studies. I strengthened my theoretical knowledge in mathematical
and qualitative business management, and combined it with my engineering experience.
Moreover, I met people from all over Europe and the world, from different cultures and
backgrounds. I found this experience personally and professionally rewarding because it
helped me gain a deeper understanding of business and engineering.
Fortunately, during my chemical engineering studies I met professor XXX, with whom I
have been cooperating till the present. We started with publishing joint work about
reverse flow reactors, especially focusing on the theoretical mechanism within, and
trying to describe that in a mathematical way. I am learning a lot of mathematical
modeling as well as numerical methods that help in solving sets of differential
equations. During my meetings and work with the professor, I sharpened my critical
thinking and programming activities.
In 2015, I moved to workshop design, to gain knowledge about plant and technological
design in the chemical, dairy and pharmaceutical industries. I was responsible for all

certification and customer audit. Together with other engineers, we developed API
(Advanced Production Integration) and streamlined development processes in
production activities. During that year, I understood that designing is that what I would
like to do. That experience gave me a lot of knowledge about the chemical industry and
apparatus production, and the pathway to certification.

I was very glad when I saw this particular opportunity to apply for a Master program in
Mechanical Engineering and with this letter I would like to express my strong motivation
for this master course. I am a graduate of the University Of Szeged, Hungary holding
BSc degree in Mechanical engineering.
I have graduated with honors at University of Szeged where I was able to get a solid
knowledge in the field. At the moment I am doing my internship in Big Corp, where I am
learning in practice how to apply methods for advanced component and structure
dimensioning, which was the topic of my Bachelor thesis. Thanks to this particular
experience I was able to perceive the complexity of this field, and to realize that I would
like to develop my career in this area. Beside application of structure dimensioning, I
hold especial interest in the digital design – both Computer aided design and computer
aided engineering, and I would like to do specialization in this particular area.
After careful overview of the master program you are offering with at your University, I
believe that curricula fully suits my intentions, and therefore I would like to get an
opportunity to attend this program.
At the end I would like to point out that I am determined to make the most of this
opportunity. I believe that being a student in your department would not only empower
my career development, but would give me the framework to utilize my full potentials.
Moreover I feel that as a Masters student at your University, I can benefit from the
numerous challenging career opportunities.
Sincerely,
Name Surname
