Q) Although testing can be done manually by the testing teams, however, specific tools make

testing easy and more efficient. Give a brief description of five different testing tools and also
specify which features of testing they focus on.?

 Functional
 Non Functional
In functional testing there are further two categories
 Manual
 Automated
In manual testing we test the test cases manually. In automated testing tools are used which make
testing easy and more efficient. Here are some testing tools which are used in testing.

Selenium:
Selenium is open source which means it is totally free. Selenium is a testing framework to perform
web application testing across various browsers and platforms like Windows, Mac, and Linux.
Selenium helps the testers to write tests in various programming languages like Java, PHP, C#,
Python, Groovy, Ruby, and Perl.

Features:
 It offers the support for parallel test execution that reduce the time taken in executing
parallel tests.
 Selenium needs very lesser resources when compared to other testing tools.
 Test cases prepared using this testing tool can be executed on any OS
 It supports the many known programming languages like Java, Python, C#, Perl, PHP, and
JavaScript.
