Terios Types (Xtra, TX, TS) Using Multidimensional Scaling Method. Supervised By Sifrid Pangemanan and Merinda Pandowo. Nowadays, research on consumer decision is important in marketing management literature. This is in accordance with the opinion of O’Brien (1971), understanding how the customer forms a purchase decision and why he ultimately decides for or against a purchase, marketers are in a better position to offer customers products relevant information and to make product changes. Terios Types (Xtra, TX, TS) Using Multidimensional Scaling Method. Their earnest increase of profitability of buying. Based on the above arguments and opinions is important for consumer consideration in buying a product or services. Of the many industries that flourished in the world and Indonesia, the transport industry is a rapidly growing industry. Basically transportation is moving people of goods from one place to another by using a vehicle that is driven by human or machine. Transportation used to facilitate human in performing daily activities. In develop countries, they usually use the subway and taxis. Residents there have rarely a personal vehicle because they mostly use public transit as their transportation. Transportation is divided into 3 types, land transportation, sea, and air. The results of theses case studies are argued to have significant impact on design-by-analogy procedures, benchmarking methods, mass customization strategies and modular design. The paper concludes with a discussion of applications and related procedures for product development. This research is performed within some limitations. Firstly this research focuses on analyzing the similarity comparison between Daihatsu Terios Xtra car with TX and TS. Second, the target correspondents of this research are limited only to people who know about this Daihatsu Terios. Thirdly, not all brands become the object this research is limited to Daihatsu Terios. Correspondence analysis is based on the cumulative proportion inertia correspondence analysis of table Interior and Occupation. As presented in Table 4.2, the cumulative proportion of inertia resulting two dimensions is 100%. Correspondence analysis produces the required dimensions for perceptual mapping.
