ANALYSIS SEMINAR-WORKSHOP
Dear Dr. Pobar,
The Strategic Research and Development Center Inc. (Strand-Asia Inc.) is an authorized reseller and a training institution
for IBM SPSS here in the Philippines. Strand-Asia Inc. is also a market research company that caters both local and
international client.
Strand-Asia Inc. has been operating for 8 years now. Our main goal as a training institution (for IBM SPSS) is to educate
and shape the analytical intelligence of our participants when it comes to both research and statistics. Our vision is to
have a significant impact on the capacity and knowledge of our participants in research and statistics.
The in-depth seminar-workshops aims to gather participants who are writing their research paper, academician
(secondary, tertiary and postgraduate) and government employees whose job is to write a research and analyze data. In
connection to this, we would like to invite to attend one of our seminars in Davao City.
Our main objective for the Research Writing and Statistical Analysis In-depth Seminar Workshop is to teach the practice
and art of research writing and statistical analysis. The in-depth-seminar workshop aims to teach the participants the
standard of research writing, different methods of data collection, sampling, question writing, questionnaire design and
the preparation of data for analysis. Furthermore, the seminar-workshop will also introduce participants to statistical
analysis, it will exhaustively and thoroughly discuss the underlying assumptions and the research question that each
statistical test answers.
Our main objectives for Quantitative and Qualitative Statistical Analysis In-depth Seminar-Workshop is to build a clear
foundation and understanding of how participants will utilize statistical tests. This seminar-workshop will introduce both
parametric tests and non-parametric tests including regression analysis. By the end of the seminar-workshop
participants will easily distinguish which statistical test will help solve the research problem. Furthermore, introduce
participants on how to analyze open-ended question that will provide depth to their research and findings. Years ago,
qualitative analysis is difficult and many debates on how to analyze qualitative data surfaced. This seminar-workshop
aims to introduce a new method in analyzing qualitative data easily.
In lieu to this, we are bringing our seminars in Davao City, this coming November 2019, at BROKENSHIRE HOTEL-RESORT
& CONVENTION CENTER Brokenshire Heights, Madapo, Davao City.

The training fee includes meals (am/pm snacks and lunch), temporary license for IBM SPSS Statistics, seminar
kit(installers of IBM SPSS, handouts and data sets) and certificates (completion and appearance). The seminar-workshop
will run for a minimum of 7 hours a day.
Participants must bring their own laptop and extension cord. Pre-registration is required. Payment should be done at
least a two (2) weeks before the seminar. Any queries regarding the payment, please feel free to contact us. As of the
moment we are waiting CPD accreditation which will be provided by our partner, Davao Association of Catholic
Schools.
