    Current Share Any number of rectifiers may be operated in parallel. Passive
    sharing is within a 15% band for all rectifiers

    Protection

    Output Current Limit Current limit characteristic is constant current between 100%
    and 110% of rated current down to 70% voltage then a current
    fold back to minimal current at short circuit. Automatic recovery
    to normal operation on the removal of the overload
    Overvoltage An output overvoltage in excess of the overvoltage setting
    results in the unit latching into output shutdown. Reset is by
    disconnection of the AC input supply. There are two settings for
    overvoltage in both the Float and Boost/Equalise modes.
    The first operates when unit is supplying current (on load) and
    ensures that should a unit’s output voltage exceed the
    overvoltage exceed the overvoltage setting in a paralleled
    system only the faulty rectifier will shutdown.
    The other setting is load independent and is fixed above the on
    load setting enabling the unit to shutdown regardless of output
    current
    Thermal Protection Automatic shutdown on thermal overload with automatic reset
    when acceptable temperatures are re-established
    Reverse Polarity Blows external distribution fuse (HRC to BS88) or external type
    2 circuit breaker. Optional facility on 24V units.
