    Cika : Rio, how if we paint the living room with blue color?

    Rio : No. I don’t like your idea. I prefer green.

    Cika : You think it would look good?


    Rio : Yeah. It suits our couches.

    Cika : You are right. I agree. Let’s paint the wall in green then.

    Rio : Very well.

    ana : Hey Ina! I want to talk about something to you.
    ina : Hey Ana! What is going on?
    ana : Umm, do you know that tomorrow is Julian’s birthday? I want to buy him a
    new pair of shoes as a gift. What do you think?
    ina : Oh really? I just knew that! Well, it is a good idea, but I see that he already
    has many shoes. What if you buy him a new watch? I see him put on the same watch
    like everyday.
    ana : Oh yes, that’s really a good idea! Thank you, Hanna.
    ina : You are most welcome, Indah.
    DIALOG 3 Giving opinion

    A: What’s your opinion of smoking?


    B: I’m not sure. For me, it’s important that children do not smoke.
    A: But do you think it’s a good idea that people can smoke in shops and buses?
    B: I don’t think so. Children use buses too.
    A: So what do you think about stopping smoking everywhere in Jakarta?
    B: I think that’s a good idea.

    DIALOG 4 Giving opinion

    Situation: discussing a band’s new music album.


    Hanna: Hey, dude. Have you heard that your favorite band has just released their
    new album?
    Mike : who?
    Hanna: Sleeping with Sirens of course.
    Mike : ah.. yeah…
    Hanna: what do you think about their new album?
    Mike : Well, honestly the music in this album is too monotonous to me. But I very
    appreciate to them.
