Essay 1: Cohabitation is believed to bring huge advantages for young people since it enables them to

fully understand each other before deciding to get married.

Do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

Living together before marriage is in trend nowadays and it is termed as cohabitation. Cohabitation is
believed to bring huge benefits for young people since it enables them to fully understand each other
before committing into a formal and legal relation. But it remains unacceptable in some societies. In this
essay we will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of both.

Marriage and kids are not for everyone and therefore cohabitation has been trending lately. The
primary reason for cohabitation is to test compatibility before deciding to get married. Such couples test
their compatibility by living together. This saves them from the legal hassles and comes out financially
cheaper.

While cohabitation is common today, there are people who still believe in the old school thought of
marriage and consider it to be better than cohabitation. Though most of us are open minded but there
are societies that do not accept such couples even today.

In my opinion, people are more open minded today and understand the importance of compatibility.
Cohabitation allows couples in knowing each other's smallest habits, likes, dislikes, etc. as against
directly marrying each other after a couple of meetings. This enables the people to understand their
partner in advance and ultimately allows them in making the choice.
Essay 2: Some people believe that teaching children at home is best for a child’s development while
others think that it is important for children to go to school.

Discuss the advantages of both methods and give your own opinion.

An area of hot debate over many years is whether home teaching is best for a child’s development or
traditional school teaching. Some people believe that children who are taught all lessons at home go on
to become more successful in life as against children who go to school and acquire learning in a more
formal structure. In this essay we will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of both.

Parents are every child's first teacher and children learn most of their habits from their parents specially
at a young age. While there is no denial that parents set the pace of learning and are most influential in
their child's learning but is this source of knowledge and teaching sufficient for children. This is where
schools come into picture. They not only provide a better environment but also help children in realizing
their true potential. School allows them to learn social, interpersonal skills which develops confidence in
children. There is a whole new learning that is triggered when a child starts to make friends at school.

In my opinion, home teaching is vital in a child's learning, but a formal school is what really allows a
child's brain to develop and evolve therefore every child must attend school.
