2. The existing process flow for SAGCC transactions has been reviewed and few
modifications have been made in the existing user manual (SOP) to provide more clarity
to the operating staff to complete transactions at Branch Counters.
3. The detailed process flow (SOP) for the operating staff is enclosed as Annexure-I.
Please arrange to bring the contents of this Circular to the notice of all concerned staff
for
meticulous compliance.

(i) INTRODUCTION:
1. The Standalone GCC device will be placed anywhere in the branch premises away from
the SWO’s.
2. Customer will Swipe his ATM/Debit card in the standalone device. The steps are given
below
3. Upon swiping the device will display the menu as per below with options
i. Cash Deposit
ii. Cash Withdrawal
iii. Funds Transfer
iv. Mobile Registration
4. Customer selects Cash Deposit in the device (for example). It will next ask for transaction
amount

5. Then it will ask customer for re-confirmation
7. After entering PIN and confirming, the device will generate a receipt, which will be
customer’s token.
8. The token receipt will have basic transaction details along with a Unique Number.
9. The token receipt will be generated for Cash Deposit, Cash Withdrawal, and GRC Deposit.
10. With this token the customer can approach any SWO Cash teller in the branch.
11. A new GCC standalone queue button has been developed in Bancslink

(iv) PROCEDURE TO BE FOLLOWED BY SWO/TELLER:
12. SWO will click the Standalone Queue button, which will display all the transactions from
Standalone GCC device Pending for Authorization.

13. The SWO will ask for the Customer token receipt, and match for the Unique ID printed in
the Customer Receipt (last 6 digit will be enough).
14. The last 6 digits of the unique reference number available in the customer receipt would
be enough to be matched /verified with the unique number against the transaction in the
teller queue grid.
15. To avoid fraudulence, the customer name has been omitted from the token receipt and
the account number has been masked.
16. The SWO/Teller should ask the details of customer’s name, amount to be withdrawn,
account no. from the customer and verify in the system.
17. Post successful verification, the SWO will select the respective transaction and view it. On
viewing the GCC Cash drawer comes up on the SWO window
19. SWO/Teller has to ensure that the customer rewrites the amount withdrawn, account no.
and signs on the slip generated from Standalone GCC terminal for cash withdrawal
transactions.

20. SWO/Teller will ensure that customer re-writes the name, amount withdrawn, account no.
and signs on the slip generated on SAGCC for cash withdrawal Transactions.
This slip will be treated as acknowledgement slip and to be preserved along with respective
teller’s daily vouchers.
For cash deposit transactions, SWO/Teller will rewrite the amount deposited and signs on
the transaction slip and give it back to the customer.
21. The Fund Transfer transactions are automatically processed from Standalone GCC devices
itself without any intervention.
When Transaction menu appears, Press 3 or select Funds Transfer option and press
Enter.

After entering the amount a screen appears prompting to Confirm or Modify the
entered amount. To Confirm press Enter or to Modify press Cancel Key.

After entering exactly 4 digits PIN, transaction proceeds.
Else if 4 digits PIN is not entered within a minute, an error message “PIN Entry
Failed” is displayed.

If a successful response is received, transaction slip is printed having both customer
and bank copy.

(IX) MOBILE REGISTRATION
The customer first swipes his ATM/Debit card in the GCC machine.
Then the customer selects for MOBILE REGISTRATION.
Then customer enters his 10 digit mobile number.
Then the customer enters his card pin for validation.
The Mobile Registration Request message is sent from GCC to Service
Integrator (SI).
SI routes the Mobile Registration Request message to Switch for the Card
Verification.
Switch Validates the Card, and sends the request to MOBILE BANKING
SERVER with the Mobile Number, Primary Account Number.
The Response message also follows the same route backwards. MOBILE
BANKING SERVER to Switch to SI to GCC.
On successful response in GCC a receipt gets printed from the device stating
“‘MBS Registration accepted for processing’”.
On failure response in GCC, the same message is prompted on the GCC
device which is returned from MOBILE BANKING SERVER.
A batch process will validate the Mobile number with CBS.
Appropriate response will be sent to customer.
