    MPR : October 2019 Major activities of Arn & the Center (pls add basi ila Myrt-Janice-etc mportant

    activities)

    1.AD Granada , PCC WVSU staff, involved LGUs and officers of Conduit Coops such as Hamtic MPC and
    Pandan MPC attended the PCCOED lead Final Writeshop/Planning re ALAB-CBIN for Antique project held
    at Iloilo Business Hotel, Iloilo City on October 1-2, 2019. Said Event was guided by Consultant Eduardo
    Macalandag and assisted by Paul Texon of PCC-OED.

    2.ADGranada attended the Campaign/Info-drive of National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC)


    spearheaded by NGO Kilusang Pagbabago-Capiz lead by Eric Aguihap. Also discussed with NAPC
    Secretary Noel K. Felongco on some concerns related to Social Mobilization. Held at Roxas City Covered
    Gym on October 5,2019. Participated by around 500 volunteers, LGUs, NGOs,Government Agencies.

    3.ADGranada attended a meeting held at ASec Hansel Didulo Office at WESVIARC, Iloilo City. Meeting
    tackles ACEF (via LBP Iloilo) possible support for Dairy sector/farmers in Panay –Guimaras Island for
    Expansion adopting two mode such as Organized or Single family approach who are start-up or already
    existing caradairy farming/livelihood. Held at Asec for Regulations and the Visayas on October 7,2019.

    4.ADGranada and ASec Hansel Didulo conducted field visit in Tigbauan , Iloilo. Visited NDA
    infra/facilities and meet Organic Farmer Awardee Mr. Edward Tresico of DREAMERS Valley Resort
    discussing diversified and integrated farming modes as a sort of generating more income among farming
    sector. Also discussed the strengthening of NGO participation in nation building particularly the role of
    MAFCs/PAFCs in the formation of RAFCs and NAFC at national level to be conduit in Agri-Policy drafting
    and partner in DAs program/project implementation. Meeting held at Dreamers Valley Resort on
    October 9,2019.

    6.AD Granada attended the Regional Seminar & Consultation on Philippine National Account System
    spearheaded by PSA-6 held at J7 Plasa Hotel, Iloilo City on October 10, 2019. Said event was attended by
    different DA line/attached agencies and resource persons came from PSA Central Office.

    7.ADGranada collaborated/coordinated with TESDA6 and TESDA Antique Province for possible
    partnership by proposing skills related training for Pandan MPC and Hamtic MPC in relation to Caradairy
    clientele development. Collaboration done on October 10, 2019.

    8. AD Granada meeting with MA Denric Sadiasa of Malay, Aklan regarding CSR Funding of SMC to
    propose and implement backyard caradairying in Malay town. Meeting held at LGU-MA Office on
    October 15, 2019 participated by SMC staff Agri-livelihood Division from Manila.

    9. ADGranada made a short courtesy meeting with Newly Appointed WVSU President Dr. Joselito F.
    Villaruz (M.D., Ph. D., FPPS). Meet at President’s Office on October 16-17, 2019.

    10.ADGranada with BLP/Bull Handlers and AI technicians conducted GIP Refresher Seminar related to
    CUPs/Monitoring/Sharing. Event spearheaded by GIP coordinator Myrtel Alcazar, held at PCCWVSU
    Office, Calinog on October 17-18, 2019.
    11.ADGranada conducted short familiarization meeting with Aklan Agricultural Improvement and
    Marketing Cooperative in Malinao , Aklan. Held at Marketing Center, Brgy. Tambuan, Malinao, Aklan.
    Also in same town Arn participated in a DA6 lead Info-Caravan and acted as resource person relative to
    Dairy Livelihood Program. Event done in Malinao, Aklan on October 18, 2019.

    12.ADGranada send letters to Gov. Cadiao and Congw. Loren’s staff Maam Marnie Payne of Antique re
    their comments of idea about ALAB event for Nov. 21/19 and lists of target participants. Coordination
    done on Oct. 22&24/19 via emails & Phone calls.

    13.ADGranada meeting with DA6 RAIC Mannuel Proque re holding of AI Year End Review/Performance
    Report Planned to be held in Bacolod City by Nov or December 2019 when not in conflict with other
    major activities/events. Meeting held at RAIC Office, DA6- Iloilo City on October 24/19. Also on same
    day send official request to PCC-OED (Via Honelyn) re funding of ALAB event targeting Dec. 5 or 6/19 as
    suggested by Congw. Loren’s Office. Congw. Loren’s info about date suggestion re ALAB Event in Antique
    was relayed to Arn by Marie Payne on Oct. 25-26/19.
