I. Objectives:

At the end of the lesson the students are expected to:

1. Define the meaning of festival dances


2. Correlates the influence of religion and culture in the development of festivals
3. Demonstrates an understanding in the diversity of the Philippine culture

Topic: Festival Dances (Nature and Background of the Festivals in the Philippines)
Reference: Learners Material for P.E. and Health

pp. 125-126

Materials: Laptop, Speakers, Projector, Cartolina, tape, chalk, pictures and video of festivals in the
Philippines
