Qatar airlines flies to more than 160 different


destinations daily. Qatar airways has received numerous awards becoming one of the most iconic
airlines worldwide. They have earned a 5 – star rating by Skytrax, getting voted the 'Airline of the
year' by Skytrax in 2011, 2012, 2015, 2017 and 2019. Qatar airlines is undoubtedly popular,
therefore there are lots of concepts that's is related to change, culture, ethics, globalization,
innovation and strategy that needs to be considered and carefully thought out for Qatar airlines.

Qatar airways flies around globally, operating to approximately 160 destinations worldwide with
rapid growth happening each year. Therefore, to treat the customers to achieve customer
satisfaction and for them to repeat purchase, it's essential to care about the customers
depending on the destination and the departing country. Depending on the departing country,
Qatar airways lowers the price due to the difference in economy and possibly provide different
food due to difference in preferences of diverse tastes of customers in that culture or region.

Airplanes are one of the biggest pollutants of transportation in the world. Even though it can be
expensive to save the environment, the company can lose potential customers. There are lots of
people who tends to take actions to save the environment and customers can easily break the
company's brand image due to fast criticism and communication from spreading news on social
media. Qatar airways national carrier has committed to a series of measures to try to reduce its
environmental impact. Qatar airways has increased recycling, pursuing low-carbon energy options,
minimizing waste and air pollution.

Considering culture and ethics has a lot to cover in case of airline businesses, Qatar airlines should
focus on balancing culture and ethics with cost by using quantitative business tool such as decision
tree. It's easy by looking at Qatar airlines that culture and ethics has a huge part in decision making
to please the customers to the fullest.
