    My name is Muhammad Pahlevi Wirawan. I am from Jakarta. I come from a family that upholds the
    religion of Islam, so I began to migrate to high school in Jombang in East Java at an Islamic Boarding
    School. It was on that event that I gained experience of living independently in a dormitory for 3
    years. I met friends with various backgrounds, languages, ethnicities, and characters. That's why I
    believe that I have a strong mental and social spirit. Besides that, I also participated in several
    competitions and won some of them, which were the 2nd Place in PPNS Newscasting Competition
    and 3rd Place in PPNS English Debate Competition. Therefore I believe that I master English well and
    is not an obstacle for me.

    I am now studying at PPNS majoring in Automation Engineering in 3rd semester. In this lecture I’m
    taking, I can operate AutoCAD software to design 3D, Arduino IDE to program Arduino
    microcontroller, Proteus and Eagle to make electrical and PCB circuits, Microsoft Visual Basic to
    design the interface of a software, etc. I am also an active student in this campus. I am an expert
    staff member of the Automation Engineering Student Association in the Student Resources
    Development department. During my tenure, I was the chief executive of an event called
    Automation English Day and was a committee in various events such as the Farewell Party for 2015
    Automation Engineering Students.

    I am pleased to submit a Student Exchange to Universiti Kuala Lumpur in the Department of


    Engineering Technology (Hons) in Instrumentation and Control Engineering. The course that I took is
    in accordance with my interest in electronic devices and instrumentation. Ever since I was a kid, I
    really liked fiddling with electronic devices like fiddling with computers and cellphones. Therefore, I
    will improve my skills and interests in this chosen course.

    In this motivation letter, I will explain why I applied for this Student Exchange program. The first is
    that I think forward about my future. In order to have a lot of experience later, joining this student
    exchange is a great opportunity for me. I will find so many new things that I can learn. I will meet lots
    of people from different backgrounds, ethnicities, and even nationalities. The second is that I really
    want to teach cultures from Indonesia abroad. Lots of cultures from Indonesia are considered
    unique by foreigners. Besides that, I will also spread the good things I got at this student exchange
    opportunity to Indonesians. Or in other words, I will be an ambassador promoting the University of
    Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia.

    Thank you very much in advanced for this opportunity and considering me. I am convinced that I am
    the best candidate for this exchange opportunity, and by choosing in this program will make me a
    better person and more helpful when I come back.
