UNLOADING ACTIVITY CHECK LIST

No 24 Hrs prior to Unloading.


1 Get ETA – Port Time Sheet , ESD Check Sheet.
2 Decide the tank to be filled (Top / Bottom ) filling and ensure sufficient margin.
3 Swivel joint N2 pressure is 0.15 bar.
4 Ensure all arm movements, oil level in the reservoir and pressure.
5 Ensure V-101 is Empty and Depressurised.
6 Familirisation &Training given for M/s OSL persons for ESD-1 resetting from JCR
Prior to Unloading
1 Bring the tank pressure to a minimum.
2 Reconfirm V-101 is depressurized.
3 Swivel joint N2 pressure is 0.3 bar.
4 Ensure one BOG compressor as standby.
Unloading
Ensure ship ESD signal is kept bypassed condition by selection of Holding mode by 01-
1 HS-1305
Ensure ( FMC remote , gas detector, oxygen detector, walky talkie and ship ESD key) are
2 with the operating personnel.
3 Communication between Ship and Shore. ( Hot line / Normal line ).
4 Check the condition of PMS
5 Arm connection and leak testing.
6 Purging of arms with N2.
7 PERC armed and Hydraulic pins in place.
8 All arms on free wheel.
9 Opening CTM and note the cargo quantity.
Ship ESD signal is taken in line by Unloading mode selection of 01-HS-1305

Refresher training given to M/s OSL persons

ESD 1 Testing, Ship ESD and Shore ESD ( As per the port time sheet ). Ensure that M/s
12 OSL persons are aware of the procedure.
13 Ensure the ESD check sheet is filled up.

2 Closing CTM and note the cargo delivered.
3 PERC unarmed.
4 Ship ESD signal is bypassed by Holding mode selection of 01-HS-1305
5 Disconnection of the arms.
6 Communication and Pneumatic cables retraced.
7 Establish jetty circulation.
8 Monitor the tank pressure
9 Select Holding mode for BOG compressor capacity control

Remarks

● Two way communication between ship & shore to be completed on


hotline and on internal communication line.
● Please note that Communication Cable to be removed just prior
to removal of Gangway.

●Safety inspection shall be carried out jointly by PLL safety person &
Ship crew. Unloading sheet attached.

●Steam to Engine should be stopped prior to connection. Ship


position monitoring with respect to spot line and fenders to be done
by ship crew.

-During Leak Test N2 to be supplied from ship after closing of


unloading arm DBV by shore in case pressure at connecting
flange is not rising above 4.0 barg.
-Purging to be done till O2 < 1% by vol.

● Discharge lines and equipment in discharge line shall be drained


30 minutes before CTM & drain valves to be kept 100% open till
CTM is over.
● Visual draft to be used for trim correction & Vessel to be kept in
upright position at the time of CTM.

● ESD Trip Test to be carried out from both Ship & Shore Side.
● Pneumatic trip setting to be set: Trip: 1.50 kg/cm2g
Reset: 1.51kg/cm2g
● Ship to reset ESD first by inhibiting shore ESD signal and then
Shore will reset.
●ESD inhibition in ship is to be removed after confirming with Shore
reset.
● Approximate Time is 90 mins. Ship to regulate LNG flow as per
requirement of shore.
● ESD valve operation to be checked.

● Flowrate shall be increased as mentioned.


● Return Gas will be lined up as per ship requirement.
● Ship to use vaporizer in case Return Gas is unsufficient.
● Prior notice shall be given by ship before stopping Cargo pumps.
● Cargo pumps shall be
stopped one by one.
● Return Gas will be stopped as per ship request.
●Arm Draining & De-icing operation will be carried out.
●N2 Purging to be done such that CH4< 1% by
vol.
●Stop burning Gas & all the points mentioned in 3.3 (Opening
CTM) to be followed up for closing CTM also.
●Steam to Main Engine to be kept closed until All arms disconnected
