    Senior Manager-SCM – Endress+Hauser Wetzer, India


    Reporting to
    To manage complete purchases for Endress+Hauser Wetzer
    Summary
    (India)
     Procurement of parts namely SS machined parts, aluminum
    die cast, flanges, SS pipes, SS bars, plastics molded parts,
    sheet metal parts etc.
     Assist in strategic vendor development.
     Maintain delivery & Quality reliability
    above company targets.
    Responsibilities
     Periodic vendor performance
    monitoring.
     Periodic vendor audits & evaluations
    of capabilities & capacities.
     Material planning, inventory analysis & management.
     New parts and component development.
     Diploma or Batchelor of Engineering –Mechanical or
    Qualifications
    production engineering
     About 6-7 years of experience in Purchase and Vendor
    development.
     Experience in automobile, electronics, engineering or
    instrumentation industry.
     Experience in an MNC will be an added advantage.
     Experience of working in an ERP environment with MM
    Education and / or module is a must.
    Experience  Strong technical knowledge of various
    manufacturing processes mainly
    pressure die casting, injection
    molding, sheet metal, machining,
    forging etc.
     Experience in sourcing stainless steel tubes and flanges will
    be an added advantage.
    Other skills and  Knowledge of import regulations, sales tax, customs and
    abilities excise will be an added advantage
     Ability to effectively present information to top
    management to enable them to take appropriate decisions.
     Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets,
    flow charts and presentation graphics.
     Knowledge of Indian & international standards is a plus.
