In view of the convergence meet Brigada Eskwela (BE) Cum Community- Based
Scouting Orientation last April 30, 2019 at Calaca, Batangas, the district also conducted
an orientation on May 2, 2019 to ensure that every school head and school BE
coordinators in the Districts were oriented and informed of the integration of the
different DepEd Programs such as Scouting, DRRM and WINS in the Brigada Eskwela
planning, implementation and monitoring.

Checking of Attendance The checking of attendance was done by Mrs.

Welcome Remarks Dr. Loida P. Rosales, Principal IV of Balayan East
Central School, greeted all the attendees of
the said meeting
2019 Brigada Eskwela Mr. Antonino Cudiamat, School Head of Putol
Implementing Guidelines Elementary School, presented the agenda of
the meeting. In view of the implementation of
the 2019 Brigada Eskwela, the calendar of
Brigada Eskwela Activities was presented to
provide guidance to schools in ensuring
preparedness of our learners and personnel for
the opening of SY 2019-2020 thru the Brigada
Eskwela (National Schools Maintenance Week)
As well as schedule of the District, Area, Division,
Regional and National Monitoring and
Evaluation of the Search for Brigada Eskwela
Best Implementers
Community Scouting A short orientation of the foci of activities of
Orientation Course each of the 5-sectional programs of scouting
and further focus on the Rover Scout Section.
The common grounds and core value between
Brigada Eskwela and Rover Scout focus of
activity which is Volunteerism was given
emphasis, this new innovation will be presented
to key stakes during the pre-implementation
meeting of BE
I. Standardization of Division/ School The roles and functions of each
Levels (DRRM) Disaster Risk position/designation in the creation of
Reduction and Management standardized DRRM organization as well as the
Organization School Safety and Preparedness Guide were
presented to provide guidance to schools in
ensuring safety and preparedness of our
learners and personnel before, during and after
emergencies. These aspects are also to be
monitored in the BE implementation
Policy and Guidelines for the To give emphasis on the need to ensure that
Comprehensive Water, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) facilities
Sanitation and Hygiene in are adequate in number and well maintained
Schools (WINS) Program and the necessary hygiene and cleaning
supplies are available in schools, the

monitored during BE implementation. There are
different WINS activities and Provisions that can
be mobilized during BE
Sharing of Best Practices from The District’s Prides shared several tips to all
BE 2018 National Winner: school heads and BE coordinators present
Cepriana Ascue Memorial during the meeting to give them a head-start

of Famer: Balayan East Central implementation phase and they also shared

during BE Best Implementer Selection
Brigada Eskwela T-shirt Mr. Russell Perez, School Head of Troadio A.
Frontera Memorial Elementary School led the
attendees on deciding whether to avail the
National design of the BE 2019 shirt or the simple
white t-shirt design. The attendees made a
consensus that only the school heads, the
schools to represent the district during the kick
off and the coordinators will avail of the
national design, all other teachers and school
personnel will avail of the white shirt with the BE
2019 logo.
Acknowledgements The presider acknowledged the host school for
the meeting as well as all those who attended
the meeting.
The meeting ended 3:00 PM.
