A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2020 ANNUAL BARANGAY YOUTH INVESTMENT PROGRAM (ABYIP) OF THE
SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN (SK) OF BARANGAY CALABOGO ROMBLON, ROMBLON
WHEREAS, Article 2, Section 12 of the 1987 Philippine Constitution states that “the state recognizes the vital role of the
youth in nation-building and shall promote and protect their physical, moral, spiritual, intellectual and social; well-being.
It shall inculcate in the youth, patriotism and nationalism and encourage their involvement in public and civic affairs.”;
WHEREAS, implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 10742 also known as Sangguniang Kabataan
Reform Act of 2015 provides in Chapter II Section 8 paragraph (a) states that “In consultation and with the concurrence
of the Katipunan ng Kabataan (KK), and within three (3) months from the assumption of office, formulate a three (3) -
year rolling plan, which shall be known as the Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan (CBYDP), which shall
serve as basis in preparation of the Annual Barangay Youth Investment Program (ABYIP).”;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK), with the concurrence of the Katipunan ng Kabataan of Baranggay
Calabogo drafted and approved a Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan (CBYDP) 2019-2021.
WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Calabogo has prepared the 2020 Annual Barangay Youth
Investment Program in accordance with the approved Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan in the
appropriated amount Php. 202,646.00 Two hundred two thousand six hundred forty-six.
WHEREAS, the Projects, Programs and Activities (PPA’s) endorsed to the Sangguniang Kabataan for adoption and
inclusion in the Barangay Development Plan are summarized as follows:
A. Health Php.10, 000.00

1. Supplementary Vitamins/ Medicines for Undernourished 10,000
B. Access to Quality Education Php.5, 000.00

1. Aid for Alternative Learning System (ALS) Students 5,000
C. Youth Empowerment and Livelihood Php.8, 000.00

1. Conduct livelihood trainings/programs 8,000
D. Gender Sensitivity Php.7, 000.00

1. Conduct seminars in relation to gender 7,000
sensitivity and gender equality issues.
E. Anti-Drug Abuse Php.10, 000.00

1. Anti-Drug Campaign 10,000
F. Capacity Building Php.59, 000.00

1. Attend Various Seminars and Trainings 32,000
2. Office Supplies 27,000
G. Linggo ng Kabataan Php.10, 000.00

1. Linggo ng Kabataan Celebration 10,000
H. Sports Development Php.62, 000.00

1. Sports League 62,000

With the foregoing consideration on motion of SK member Cristel M. Roda, seconded by all members present.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN OF

BARANGGAY CALABOGO to approve its 2020 Annual Barangay Youth Investment Program;
RESOLVED FURTHER to favourably endorse the Sangguniang Kabataan Annual Barangay Youth Investment Program
to the Sangguniang Barangay for adoption and inclusion in the Barangay Development Plan for the year 2020.
Lastly, copies of this resolution be furnished to the Honorable Sangguniang Bayan, the DILG Field Officer, the
Municipal Budget Officer, the Municipal Accountant, Barangay Bookkeeper, all of Romblon, Romblon, for their
information and guidance.
