    RESEARCH TOPIC.

    ASSIGNMENT 2 EDPM

    CHOOSE ONE TOPIC. (25 MARKS)

    1. You are the Public Relations Officer for a Youth Organisation and wish to let the general youth

    population know about what your organisation is doing. Come up with a strategy or campaign to

    gain awareness about four of the man areas of action that your organisation works on. Next,

    create email, including photos of a series of messages you wish to send out to young people. Use

    ideas gained from your research on what makes youth respond. State all sources in appropriate

    bibliography.

    OR

    2. Research the successful use of Resources from the Oil Industry in other countries and prepare a

    summary of this information ready to be emailed. Indicate how this can be beneficial to Guyana,

    and what steps are needed for Guyana to be as successful as the countries you have highlighted.

    Ensure photos are included in the email. State all sources in appropriate bibliography.

    OR

    3. The principal of your school has asked you to prepare a document pertaining to the research of

    study habits, in order to present the information to the student population of your school.

    Summarize this information in an email to send out to the school population, including photos

    and state all sources in appropriate bibliography.


    ASSIGNMENT 3

    CHOOSE ONE TOPIC (25 MARKS)

    1. You are the event coordinator for the Dynamic Youth Empowerment Organisation and have been

    tasked by the Director with preparing a dinner party for its 3rd Anniversary. Using the skills you

    have developed, design a guest list, invitation card, menu and programme for this event.

    OR

    2. You are a travel agent and would like to announce to your clients the new flights that you offer to

    3 new destinations as well as the vacation packages that you have to offer. Prepare a flyer and 2

    brochures to inform your clients about these great offers. You may include on your brochures

    information regarding hotels and their costs at their different destinations as well as information

    that compares your agency to others. Be sure to include your business card in the package that

    you will mail to your clients.
