To our guest of honor, to our school president, to our principal for basic education, school

officials, staffs and administration, distinguished guests, dedicated teachers, beloved parents

and fellow graduates, a pleasant morning to all!

On behalf of every student here, I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to all the

teachers and mentors we’ve had in life. You are the candles that light the way. Thank you for

using your precious time and wisdom for us. You have taught us and still are teaching us to

achieve excellence. You help us on our way to success. I believe that we’re a much better

person now than we would have been had we not met all of you. I would also like to thank all

the parents for your endless support and patience for all of us. You have lovingly cared for us

all these years and set the foundation for our future. There are not enough words to express

how thankful all of us are. To my papa, please raise. I have witnessed your sacrifices and

struggles together with mama in rearing me and just to send me to school. Thank you very

much.

Today is a memorable day for all of us because we have just ended an episode in our lives –

elementary life. Now, we are about to start a new chapter of our journey, the junior high and

eventually, the senior high.  Jose Rizal once said,

“The youth is the hope of the motherland.” We studied in Christian College of Tanauan so we

could be equipped with adequate knowledge and skills in preparation for important roles we

have to play in society someday, and most specially, to turn into reality the

prophecy of our national hero, that we, indeed can be the hope of our beloved country, The

Philippines.
Now, I could simply say that we are empowered and productive student that could face new

challenges towards new horizon. For I believe, that we are now equipped of all the things we

need based from the experiences and trainings we had undergone from our Alma Mater. My

dear co-graduates, the first step has been successful. “Ika nga, the roots of education is bitter,

but the fruit it bears is very

sweet.” The journey is long and laden with thorns but our accomplishment in this

school are very rewarding. The patience and dedication each of us has shown throughout our

6 years in the elementary are those what made us heroes like Jose Rizal. Our graduation

today is the first of the series of accomplishments that we will surely achieve with the

guidance of our parents and people around us.

Everything in this world has a beginning. In our case, we have just accomplished the

beginning. We have started the first right move. Hence, there is no reason why we should fail

in our future undertakings.

High school life is the first step in our ladder of success. We do not know what will happen

next. But if we have an aim, a goal, it will make our dreams come true. We need to continue

studying and let’s make this a pledge for the new generation. Let’s make goodbye to our old

selves and say “hello” to the new “we”. But always remember: be Empowered and

Productive! My dear co-graduates, thank you for all the good friendship, brotherhood and

camaraderie. Always remember, we are a Good News! My Fellow Graduates, parents and

teachers. Once again, thank you and Congratulations! Mabuhay!
