Objectives of assessment:
1. To assess student’s progress and studio objectives compliance
2. To provide direction and continuing project development for portfolio assessment.
In this final crit session, students are expected to be able to:
a. Suggest appropriate solutions for the future Kuala Lumpur urban community addressing the social impact of
inclusive housing and local culture (sustainable social and economy).
b. Develop appropriate sustainable design solutions incorporating the architectural solutions (sustainable built
environment) to urban context with appropriate pedestrian and vehicular accessibilities, environmental
friendly communal places and spaces, aesthetics, appropriate unit layout and floor efficiency, building
construction, security and safety, CPTED design, compliance to regulations etc.
Deliverables: concept and ideas, urban and site analysis and synthesis, all scale drawings – site, floor and roof plans,
sections, elevations, detail section, perspectives, scale working model.
