    Photo Narrative on Wash in School Program


    Safeguard and Liquid Hand Soap were equally distributed in every
    offices and classrooms.

    During the first Homeroom meeting for school year 2019-2020.


    Parents/Guardians were oriented about the Wash in School Program, Deworming and
    WIFA. On July 22-26, 2019, students of Wangan NHS joined the One Health Week –
    Oplan Kalusugan by DepEd. Students were again oriented to be health conscious
    and hygienic. Oplan kalusugan in Wangan National High School started since 2018,
    were students regularly wash their hands after/before eating, after using the comfort
    room, after playing, gardening and etc.

    WINS “putting into practice” conducts daily/group handwashing with the


    supervision of the teachers and selected WinS Officers. The school has 5 total
    number of functional faucets/water outlets (canteen, Admin Office, Grade 9
    building, Near the central Gate and Alumni Building) were students can drink
    water, wash their hands and brush their teeth.

    The school canteen is also monitored by the WinS coordinator. The photo below
    shows that the food handlers were also practicing food safety measures, such as
    wearing apron, mask and hairnet. Sanitary Pads are also available in the school
    canteen.

    The WinS Team asked each classroom to create a WinS corner to


    promote/inform about Water, Sanitation and Hygiene to the students. First
    Aid Kit is also accessible in every classroom and laboratory.
