DAILY REPORT

Overview:
Visited the power plant site area, observed and followed the maintenance
activities performed during the day.

Maintenance Activities:
Throughout the day following maintenance activities are witnessed in the plant
site area:

11KV Phase Current Transmitter:


Phase current transmitter on 11KV side of GT-1 0.4KV bus bar incoming
transformer was reported faulty. Electrical maintenance department worked on
the issue, the phase current transmitter was replaced and system was restored
and the issue was resolved.
DAILY REPORT

HP/LP FWPs Cleaning:


As part of scheduled activity, the cleaning of HP/LP feed water pumps of
deaerator was performed by mechanical maintenance department.

HCL Storage Tank Valve:


In water treatment plant, the outlet valve of HCL storage tank #1 was reported
faulty. Mechanical maintenance department worked on the issue. A new valve
was installed and the issue was rectified.
 The condition of few other valves in WTP is very bad due to constantly
being exposed to the chemical, proper cleaning of those valves is required
to remove all the rust or else leakages will start from those valves also.
DAILY REPORT

ST Condenser:
The cleaning of tubes of condenser water box side A is completed by mechanical
maintenance department. Now the cleaning of condenser water box side B is in
progress with high pressure jet cleaner.
DAILY REPORT

WTP Analyzers:
A few days ago, I&C maintenance department installed two analyzers for demin
water PH and Conductivity and one analyzer for mix bed A,B conductivity. Today
the calibration of all these analyzers was performed by I&C maintenance
department.

HRSG Control Valves Inspection:


Today, health checks, inspection and cleaning of control valves of LP system and
Deaerator was performed by I&C maintenance department.
DAILY REPORT

Inspection of AC Units:
Inspection of AC units of all the PEECC’s was performed by HVAC department.
Cleaning of filters was also performed.
