1 Replacement warning
The 6 poles motors listed in this document are not more supplied.

New motors (8 poles) are available for maintenance / spare parts; some parameters have to be modified in
the drive, in case of replacement from 6 poles motor to 8 poles motor.
This document explains the procedure and the parameters to change.

WARNING: this procedure is valid for OPD and OPDE drives and for DSC drives.
Here below the association table between 6 poles motors and equivalent 8 poles motors

2.7 Procedure to change parameters

This procedure is valid for OPD and OPDE drives and explains how to change the parameters of the drive by
means of the drive keyboard.

The procedure here below refers to OPD drives, it’s valid also for OPDE considering the keypad buttons as
shown in the below table:

Starting from the status of rest:

- press the ‘S’ key, you enter in the main menu
- trough ' + ' or ' - ' buttons, look for the ‘ PAR ’ and ‘ CON ’ acronym
- press ‘S’ to enter in the sub-menu list
- trough ' + ' or ' - ' buttons, look for the desired parameter
- press ‘S’ to display the value of the parameter selected
- press ‘S’ again to come back to previous level OR press ' + ' or ' - ' buttons contemporary to change
the value of the parameter selected. The decimal point of the first figure to the left warning that
from that moment the movement of the keys ‘-’ and ‘+’ modifies the value

Before to change the values of the parameters the access code has to be set (P60=95)

Change the parameters of the drive as listed in chapter 2.

In order to save changes, set C63=1.

3.6 Procedure to change parameters

This procedure is valid for DSC drives and explains how to change the parameters of the drive by means of
the drive keyboard.

DSC ‘S’ ‘+’ ‘-‘

Starting from the status of rest:
- press the ‘S’ key, you enter in the main menu
- trough ' + ' or ' - ' buttons, look for the desired number of parameter (P) or connection (C).
- press ‘S’ to display the value of the parameter selected
- press ‘S’ again to come back to previous level OR press ' + ' or ' - ' buttons contemporary to change
the value of the parameter selected. The decimal point of the first figure to the left warning that
from that moment the movement of the keys ‘-’ and ‘+’ modifies the value
