Street Uni clothing is established with the aim of producing high quality and highly
fashionable shirts for men, women, young adults that creates unique and stylish lines of
clothing to everyone that loves what they choose to wear and care how they present their
image in public. This product aim to promote shirts that can be worn fashionably with
different body types. T-shirt is very common to all not as only a dress also fashion stuff. It’s
being used widely by the younger generation. But how do they choose a T-shirt? Our
research paper will contain some factors that influence young people in buying a T-shirt.
Based on an exploratory research on 20 respondents we have identified 4 variables that
influence in purchasing a T-shirt.

compared to males. There are 53 females as compared to 47 males who were

From the response received, the majority of people spend less than $10.00
on buying apparels .The reason for it could be the conventional habit of seeing and
feeling the clothes before buying it, or the belief that product itself or the quality may
be different or just trying the online store when making a first purchase and thus
lessening the risk.

Most of the people prefer many colours more than few colours. Sometimes
you like this t-shirt but it doesn’t have the colour that you like so you decide to not
buy that t-shirt. Nowadays you will see most of brand they release all colour of t-
shirt for all group at all ages, not only for workers, officer or teenager. However a few
people they like to wear a basic colour of t-shirt such as black, white and navy blue.

Out of the total 100 respondents, only 81 said that they are completely aware
about the money return back policy, provided they are according to the terms and
conditions laid down by the company. There is still a large chunk who are completely
unaware-10. And a few who somewhat knew that some websites provide such kind
of features but how exactly it works they were unaware.

From this survey, the most important aspect for people when purchasing a
t-shirt is price. People still concern with the price of the products. As income
availability, more people will purchase things that are reasonable price because of
budget People want to get as much as they can based on what they can afford.

This survey showed that people buy products from their website more than
Facebook, Instagram and other because people feel sure that it is safe, official and
believable to buy. Next is application, now a lots of business create their own
application so the customer feel it is easier and convenience to shop. Otherwise,
Facebook, Instagram and other are not popular as it should be.

The survey finds that 55% of the respondents used debit card to shop online,
while 28 per cent used credit card, 18 per cent of the respondents, mentioned that
they opted for cash on delivery as their payment mode. A total of 100 responses
were received by the survey.
Respondents were asked to share ideas on how the online marketplace could
be improved. Below is a summary of their suggestions.
Pre-purchasing
• Consumers want clear product descriptions including standard sizing (for clothes
and shoes), full descriptions in coherent English that include fabric type, colour and
photos.
• Clearer company / trader identification, including location of the primary office and
(if different) the country or location where stock is being delivered from.
• Clarity about policies including refunds and returns, who pays the cost of shipping
returns, complaints, and a commitment to abide by the Australian Consumer Law.
• Clarity about items that are out of stock at the ‘description of product’ stage, not at
the shopping cart stage.
• Security payment options including https://, PayPal and credit card options. A
detailed policy about a trader’s approach to online security and privacy.
Delivery
• Delivery options including click and collect, parcel locker, and allowing consumers
the choice of delivery carrier.
Conclusion
Technology has made significant progress over the years to provide
consumers a better online shopping experience and will continue to do so for years
to come. People need to purchase items such as clothing, and now have the choice
to shop online. It is so easy and very convenience. Online shopping has increased
and changed the way people shop.
With the introduction of internet shopping online has become popular. Shopping
online allows access to merchandise sold worldwide. It is a growing part of retail.
Online shopping is time saving and convenient. There is often no cost for traveling
when ordering items online.
Shopping online an individual does not have face to face transactions. There is
limited person to person interaction with online shopping. People do not have to deal
with crowds or unwanted socializing. Ordering items online can occur around the
clock without the needing another person assistance. A person can make returns
and purchases with the click of a computer mouse.
Reliable shopping websites offers a secure way to make transactions. Using only
secure sites will help secure personal information. Tracking numbers to track
packages containing purchased items are often provided or can be requested. When
making online purchase a confirmation can be sent to a personal email account if
one has been provided.
After this survey and analysis we have drawn to the following conclusions.
Yes online shopping is pretty popular among the young people. Many
teenagers are now using the online shopping for fulfilling their shopping desires.
Most of them are completely aware of their return back policy of online shopping.
Debit card remains the best choice for payment followed by Credit card and cash on
delivery. Females are marginally more interested in shopping through the internet
due to its convenience. The majority of people prefer to shop many colour of t-shirt.
More than half of people are shopping frequently though the web. However, a few
group of people said that they have never bought t-shirt online before.The most
visited and trusted sites are their own website and application according to the
survey. After this analysis we conclude that technology has made significant
progress over the years to provide consumers a better online shopping experience
and will continue to do so for years to come. With the rapid growth of products and
brands, people have speculated that online shopping will overtake in-store shopping.
However, there are a lots of people feel more comfortable seeing and touching the
product being bought and want to socialize with others.
